Number One Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Maryland

In my Randy Jackson voice, “it’s a no for me dog.” I had high hopes as this place is very close to home but no. I’ll happily drive to my favorite spot in Glen Burnie.

The establishment is dark and dingy with no AC. I don’t know how they have customers in the dog days of Summer. The food was piping hot but way too salty. The orange chicken and general TSO was too dry. The shrimp fried rice and shrimp Lo mein had very small shrimp in it. They give you four or five patties for the egg foo young and 1/4 cup of gravy.

Great staff/Owner, I’ve been ordering food here for almost 8yrs. In that time, I’ve never had a bad experience, and that’s eating from here at least once a month. Whenever I’m in the mood for Chinese, this’s my goto, I really appreciate the meals being consistent. They don’t have ten cooks, who all prepare a dish with their own personal spin. We placed an order for 8 people. There was an initial issue with the order, but the staff resolved it. However, I did want to share some feedback: the wings were not whole wings, the chicken did not seem fresh, and the egg roll with my order had no filling.
