The Human Bean — Restaurant in Maryland

The Human Bean is AMAZING!!! You wouldn’t believe it, but my daughters will fly, drive and take trains home from all over the country/world just to go to the Human Bean with my wife and I!!! I have a suspicion that they come home so that we will pick up the tab. However, I’ve been outwitting them as we let them stay with us often times because they pick up the check for our fu fu drinks!!! Besides that, they’re always more motivated to stay up and hang out with us after some Human Bean!! One of my daughters has even taken to having her boyfriend from NYC (originally Seattle) come visit us in order that they can go to the Human Bean together…clearly he knows how good the Human Bean is!!! I’m curious to know who else with visit us soon just so they can go to this particular Human Bean!!! Talk about a treasure! I can’t wait to go to the Human Bean together as a fam at Christmas! In the meantime though, our son, wife and I get to go to the Human Bean and take pics of our drinks and send them to our daughters… it’s really diabolical… As it’s setting the trap for them to return. They clearly won’t be able to help themselves. I suppose they even one day may be back just so they can have The Human Bean on regular basis. Thank you Human Bean for bringing our family together fully...

Highly recommend. Though the food menu isn’t what I would want (I’m picky it’s difficult to have my desired food combinations I don’t hold it against anyone) it’s more expansive than I would have anticipated.

The Java Chip Granita is hands down my favorite blended coffee drink I have ever had and I’m about to go tomorrow morning to start my day :) I’m excited thinking about it and consuming chocolate covered espresso beans (which are to absolutely LIVE for).

The staff is very friendly and nice, little conversation here and there, kindness extended and service is immaculate. The little display of putting the choco beans on top of my coffee is a subtle and meaningful touch added. Feels good. Maybe its the love of the staff giving me a drink I end up loving who is to say 🤷🏼

Anyways, it’s worth the trip and experience. Small place, it’s really a vibe.
