Old Dominion BrewHouse — Restaurant in Maryland

I've been a loyal customer at Old Dominion for years, enjoying the food and service until a shocking and unacceptable experience changed everything. On 2/21/25, my friend and I were denied service because the manager falsely accused us of walking out on a bill from November 24th. We provided proof that we were out of state that day and had not visited the bar on Sundays, yet they refused to listen or provide any actual evidence.

What makes this worse is that we last visited in January, were served by the same bartender, and had no issues then yet suddenly, nearly two months later, we were singled out because we supposedly looked like the people who left without paying. This felt like clear racial profiling and was handled with zero professionalism.

It's unfortunate because we genuinely liked this place, but after being wrongly accused, embarrassed, and refused service without proof, we will never return. I hope management learns from this and implements better policies to prevent falsely accusing...

Soooo I stumbled upon this spot in a retail development near the Hyattsville movie theater....it sits way in the back...and doesnt look like much more than a beer store with a cool name....I stepped in to find a full on bar restaurant with happy, friendly people filling every seat! I ordered the brewhouse sampler as pictured and the steak hoagie which came with fries for $12 bucks... All was delicious...especially the sandwich! They usually serve it with lettuce tomato onion ...that's why mine looks a little flat. I opted to substitute that for jalapeños which made my sandwich amazing. I will return especially since a patron told me that the happy hour is mon-sat and their drinks are priced right. The people seem like they already know its a great place and hv been...

Ate here 2 night's in a row out of town on business. Night one I got the breaded wings. Those were seriously some of the best chicken wings I've ever got at a restaurant. Tender and juicy instead of the over cooked ones most places usually serve. This brought me back for night . To try the Buffalo wings which are unbreaded fried and tossed in a choice of sauces. These were back to being overcooked but the sauces were awesome. They actually hit the table luke warm as it seemed like one poor overworked waitress was handling the whole place on a busy night. I gave it a 5 star for the food just because the wings on the first night really were that good to make up for the 2nd night. I'll certainly give them another try next time I'm...
