My husband loves their pizza. I struggle every time he orders to find something I would like. We order from their own website to use their delivery drivers. Tonight, they don't make what I ordered, again their own menu from their own website, but rather than call us, they substituted. It went from Chicken Salad Sub to Grilled Chicken Sub. The grilled sub had maybe 2 ounces of meat on a 6 inch plus sub, literally about the amount of 3 chicken nuggets from a fast food joint. It was nearly a $9.00 sub. So I drove it back and said it wasn't correct, but if I did order a grilled chicken sub that it still would not be acceptable, it was severely anemic. Owner came out and apologized, new crew, busy night, etc. I said I get it but it was still a double whammy on mistakes here. He offered me a new sub, I asked for a meatball sub. He came back quickly with it. I left and got home. I should mention this whole time a lady was standing at the front door, patiently waiting for a chicken parm sub, with her forehead practically pressed against the window. With COVID 19, no one was allowed inside that didn't work there. She had been waiting a while from what I gather. I get home with my hopefully mediocre meatball sub, as I have had it before but I was hungry, so I settled. Well darn, nope, no meatball, it was chicken parm. So the poor lady waiting forever for her chicken parm probably got my "I'm hungry and am going to settle for this rather ok meatball sub" instead of her long awaited chicken parm. At this point I'm flabbergasted and hungry so I ate it. You guessed it, another item I would not order again. But it at least had a respectable amount of chicken on it, unlike the grilled chicken sub they tried to pawn off on me to begin with. Here is my advice, it is a busy night, you are overwhelmed, evidenced by the fact you stopped answering the phone. But as I stood there, you continued to take online orders. I saw the kid at the counter pull about 3 feet of new ticket orders off the printer. As an owner and manager, you need to know when to pull the plug, regroup and tend to your orders you have in front of you. There is no way you are going to salvage this night by taking even more orders and giving this level of service or less to all of those new orders. When I got home, the husband and I had a come to Jesus regarding Paisano's. He can order his pizza, go to pick it up and get me taco bell. I'd be 10 times more satisfied. Subway is 100 times better when it come to sandwiches vs. Paisano's. I hardly ever review, but I have tried Paisano's more than once, twice, even three times because my hubby likes the pizza and they will deliver to our house. Nope. Done. I hope they can pull it together, but I'm not going to give them the chance to continue to be disappointing. ...
Read moreI have tried this place 3 times and all three have been disappointing.
First time I called to place a delivery order. I can see paisanos from my house I frequently walk past it. Yet I was told I was not in the delivery zone. I found that hard to believe and after 15 minutes of telling the guy I would just walk up to the restaurant and order he finally realized he had my address wrong. I placed my order, gave my cc# hung up. When the food arrived 35 minutes later the delivery driver told my husband how much the food would be and he gave him cash. When we realized we double paid i called up and they told me i had to go in to get a refund. Once we walked up i was told it had already been done and there was no need to come all the way in.
Second time i ordered a Turkey sandwich on white bread a salad 2 drinks and a bag of chips. This cost me $32.00... that's insane. Turns out there are combos, however I was charged for everything separately. It seemed to be the guys first day. My plain Turkey sandwich came out with mayo and had to be remade.
Third try ordered 2 salads and Turkey sandwich with fries and 2 drinks. Somehow also equaled $32.00 but I waited and waited and after 20 minutes I asked where my food was. They stared at me with confusion. Nothing had been started for my order. They were cleaning up from the lunch rush and just never made my food. Food finally came out my salad was missing olives, and the Turkey sandwich was supposed to be on white bread but came out on a sub roll. They gave me a free dessert but never offered any kind of apology.
Anyway... 3 strikes and I'm out. Sucks this place is walking distance from my house and has way better options then subway. But it's too expensive for what you get, and too...
Read moreI never had a bad experience. The food is always fresh, hot and always what we ordered. Last night we did have an issue though. We ordered from grubhub a ex lg pepperoni pizza, fries and a 2 liter of coke. The food was 30 minutes late and we only received fries. When I asked the driver where the rest of my order was he said he would go look at the receipt (in his car). My husband who was inches from the door looked out the window and said the driver just left. I immediately called the restaurant and spoke with the manager. I explained everything that just happened to Dan the manager who continued to tell me he noticed the driver left without the pizza so they sent another driver with it. At that point my husband was already on his way to get a pizza from somewhere else so he wanted a full refund. The manager understood the situation and told us to keep the food even though we were dissatisfied and on top of that, whenever we order from this establishment again, we would have the next pizza free. He was determined to make it right and in my opinion he did. We received a full refund from grubhub. He was a sweet guy. When the driver came with the pizza, he didn't have the coke but that's ok. We didn't care at that point. All was taken care of and I still will continue to order here despite one bad experience. The manager went above and beyond to fix the issue and I really appreciate that. Thank you Dan...
