On 04/06/25 at 11:38 AM I went to buy a meal that cost $40.14 for the total order. I paid with my Banco Amarica credit card. The cashier took the money, gave me back my card, and gave me my receipt for my order. I waited for the order inside the establishment. Before they prepared the order, I asked if I could cancel it because I had to leave and couldn't wait. The cashier told me yes, but the refund would take between 3 and 7 days because the payment was with a card. I told him okay. The cashier gave me my receipt and I left. Today, 04/16/25 at 12:20 PM, I went to the establishment to ask if I wouldn't get a refund. What would the order tell me because I haven't received the money on my card or in my bank account. The cashier told me I'm going to speak to the supervisor. I told him okay. I'll wait. The supervisor said he can't give me the money or the food. I told him why. He told me to call. the bank called the bank the bank says that I have no papa johns transactions in my history the teller explains to his supervisor that he must return the money or the food to me his supervisor says no when I have the receipt for the order in hand the bank tells him that I do not have a refund from papa johns and the teller explains to his supervisor that I did not receive the food nor do I have the money that he must do one of two things give me the food or the money his supervisor says no because he felt like not giving it to me when I have every reason in my favor he keeps saying no I want my money I worked my time my sweat my effort it is frustrating that you claim something that is yours and they do not want to give it to you because the other does not want it in this country nothing is free everything is worked for I am full of frustration helplessness and anguish for that bad time spent at 11915 Georgia Av wheaton, md 20902 number # 0722 I want my refund today it's been 10 days and I complain and his supervisor says no because he feels The owner of the establishment, when he is a more knowledgeable worker, has no reason not to want to return my property I tore the ticket from the futility and the helplessness was too...

They were short and rude with me. This "manager" would place me on hold without even saying anything. When I called back to check on the status of my order, he put me on hold for 10 minutes before answering. When placing my order-I told him where to send the order and he did not confirm an address. He then said he sent it to another address when I called back. When I said- "I told you the name of the school, and you didn't ask for the address." He replied "I don't have the address to schools memorized." Surely he doesn't but he could have CONFIRMED the address. Then he said "I only have one driver, so it takes a while." While I understand the restaurant may be understaffed- it's best to be HONEST with customers about the delivery time. The "manager" ended the conversation by saying "oh, the driver just pulled up- it's going to be 15 minutes OKAY!" and then proceeded to HANG up the phone. No apologies, no patience. The girl asked me if I wanted another order of the buffalo wings, which I said no, just credit me back the cost of the unsauced boneless wings. She said the new charge would be $45 and change. Checking my credit card, I now have two charges - one for the original cost of the order $59.09 and another one for $54.18. I called Papa John’s a few minutes ago and spoke to Raphael. After a frustrating discussion with him, I asked him to ask his manager to call me.
