Passion Bakery Cafe — Restaurant in Maryland

I visited this establishment 10/23/24 to purchase a cake for a birthday. The front female employee (glasses, fake nails, hair in a bun, always on her phone) could use some customer service training. She knows how to greet Spanish speaking customers but didn't give that same courtesy to me when I walked in. I proceeded to ask her if they had vanilla-only flavored cakes (As other reviewers have mentioned, there's no labels on the cake display to be able to tell which cake is what). After selecting the cake I wanted and what to write on it, she carried it to the back. I tried calling her back before she handed it over to the back employees, but she didn't hear me. Once she came back out front, I informed her i forgot to include other words I wanted on the cake and wanted to write them down. With an attitude she grabbed a reciept and pen, and with an eye roll and an annoyed huff like she couldn't be bothered, proceeds to slam the pen and reciept on the glass counter top in front of me. I write the info down, and she grabs it to take it to the back before attending to another customer. She brings the cake box (empty) to the register and rings up my order. I informed her that I wanted to see how the cake turned out before paying. That resulted in an unnecessary back and forth between her and I before she finally brought out the cake to show me and what do you know, of course the writing on the cake is NOT how I wrote it down on the receipt. At this point, I was fed up with her lack of professionalism, sour attitude, and lackluster customer service that I just wanted to hurry up and pay and leave. Not to mention, i overheard her and the staff in the back mocking me in laughter when she went to grab the cake. I won't be coming back here. Do better. ETA: The cake looked ok but tasted a bit off, the chocolate candy bar/pirouline tasted stale, the icing inside the cake tasted more like butter than icing, the cake itself had no chocolate or vanilla flavor it just...

I stopped in to grab a breakfast sandwich, with difficulty due to the language barrier, I was finally able to order sausage egg and cheese on a croissant roll. I asked about different cheese options they did not have anything other than american. I also ordered a slice of Oreo cake from the display case. What I got was sausage egg and cheese on a bagel, the egg was really salty, there was too much cheese, I basically ate the top part of the bagel and a few bites of egg. the sausage tasted bad.
