My boyfriend and I ordered over $30 dollars worth of food from this establishment today on 04/06/19. A basic order turned into a nightmare when he went to pick up the food. My boyfriend asked for some crushed red peppers he was given two for his order when he went to ask for two more the employee said no problem. The issue occurred when the manager named Corey stepped in and refused to allow her to give him two more conditments for free and then proceeded to charge him ten cents extra. The issue has nothing to do with money he offered to pay for the extra condiments with the First Person said don’t worry about it. I respect the business model but papa johns are you serious? In the last year have you guys not learned anything concerning your PR nightmare and customer service issues and the problems related to the racist scandal last year? When I called into the store to speak to Corey in a professional manner he acted uniformed about this situation when it just happened minutes ago. I will be reporting this store to the corporate office and this is exactly why I told my boyfriend do not support papa Johns until they get their branding and customer service together. This situation would have never occurred at little Cesar’s, Pizza Hut or even dominos! It looks like papa johns in general and especially this location has a lot to learn! The manager refused to give me the franchise owner or any other info but that’s ok I will use public information and google as a tool! To help get this store in order since they don’t value customers. Please be careful when ordering from this store clearly customer service and professionalism is not a area they excel in. While I do understand the cost of the condiments why act rude about it? And why would the manager belittle the other employee that said don’t worry about the cost? If we are really battling over 20 cents why are two different people that represent this businesss saying totally two different things? The last research I did on this company they had to bring in Shaquille o Neil and pay him millions to try to recover from the damage and lost business. Read moreI usually have no issues with them as I never have encounter myself with any issues. I placed an order online today and realized it went to the wrong address since my primary address is my home I did not think any of it, well guess what? It went to my job! Where everything is closed and I tried to call them and I was placed on hold for over 20minutes! When someone finally got on the phone they had asked me to be on hold again. I told them I had been on hold for a while and they said oh well sorry and placed on hold without further pick up. I been on hold for over 25minutes for a 2nd phone call made to them. I tried calling them from my home phone 3 times on which my call was picked up at the 3rd call after 5mins. I tell the person that answer the phone of the issue of being placed on hold for way too long and he tried to tell me we have received higher phone calls for orders, and there only two people working here, but is 25 minutes wait time acceptable? I needed to make a correction to the address, but by that time my food was already being delivered to a my job that happens to be closed at this hour and for the weekend. He asked what address is the one and gave him and then he tells me, oh you will need to pick it up? Like you have delivered here before! This is unacceptable in all ways. The 1st time pick up...worst experience ever as only one register could work at a time, the pizza I ordered about aN hour ago is sitting on the shelf while the young man finishes the phone order and attends to the other two people ahead of me on the phone. I would not say they are short staffed as three other people were just standing there and starring till I mentioned the pizza I'm picking up has been paid for online and just here to pick up. The lady clearly states "until he is able to help you and process it on the register that the pizza has been picked up we can not just give the pizza!" Really!...the second register is just an antique piece. Oh I get it. Needless to say the pizza was cold before I can even get home. 2nd time just enough time to forget my first experience here. Online order for delivery, pizza gets here on time the guy states a different total than the price onine. Once I notify him of price stated on my online receipt he says "same thing!" The attitude and customer service from this place absolutely sucks. Papa Johns is one of my favorite pizza places. This location gives you a dinner from hell!
