If you give this place 5 stars you are out of your mind. Plain and simple.
I order 5 tenders, fries and a drink. Fries are good, sweet tea is great, and chicken was plenty good (although nothing rivals royal farms!) But I get to my third strip and upon tearing it in half I notice that it is quite undercooked.
I go up to the counter and show the manager. Doesn't say anything, but complies and agrees to replace the undercooked tender.
I ended up saving this tender for last as it was in its own container. Carried on enjoying my food with my dad.
I get to the replaced tender.
I go to tear it in half as is my custom for eating tenders and notice a black spec in the breading. Now of course, seasonings that are black in color are common in food, and commonly used in the frying of chicken. So I looked at it for a second but had a suprising realization.
That black spec was a fly, cooked right into the batter. Flies are regularly present in life... I attributed this to an accident more so than the undercooked tender. So with no angry or pissed attitude, (as was the csse the first time) I went up to the counter to get my replacement tender replaced. I politely showed the manager the fly cooked into the batter and requested a replacement.
This manager had the BALLS to accuse me of PLANTING THE FLY IN THERE saying quote "it was clean when I gave it to you". He abruptly turns around to where chicken is kept warm and throws two tenders in a container. He again abruptly turns around (now facing me, tongs in hand) and rapidly flips the chicken over and back in the container saying "see they are clean. Nothing is wrong with them".
I was very respectful throughout this whole ordeal. I did not make a scene, raise my voice or raise my temper.
But... I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE IN MY LIFE. You can guarantee corporate will be hearing from me.

However, the blatant lack of customer care is unacceptable. This is strike number 2 for the very same employee. An older gentleman has now twice left me with a sour taste and completely disregarded my concerns as a customer.
My first visit, I admittedly was a little late (about 30-minutes from closing) but had placed my order 15-minutes prior online for x1 large side of mashed potatoes. Arriving to the drive thru for pick-up, I was greeted with a disgruntled and uncaring tone stating that they were not taking orders. After being interrupted mid-sentence explaining that the order was paid and placed online, the microphone cut off and I was no longer being answered by anyone. So I pulled around, to the window only to be greeted by a confused look with glasses. After explaining face-to-face the situation I was advised to request a refund online for the food that was packaged in a bag right near the cash register in the window. After going back and forth for a minute or two, the employee finally looked in the bag and handed me the food I had ordered and paid for.
On my second and final visit to this particular establishment, simply trying to use a small coupon to save a couple bucks was met with interruptions and am unwillingness to even attempt running the coupon. Ok, fine, not a participating location. Receiving our food, we found the order was almost entirely incorrect. Different sides, different condiment selections, and of course, different spice choices.
I understand this is fast-food, however the lack of effort and seemingly arrogant present with this one employee has given me enough reason not to order from or visit this...
Read moreI can to this popeyes on the 29th of August. I waited in line for 35 minutes. I ordered the $5 chicken box white meat corn and onion rings. They said they were out of corn and they gave me some old onion rings. So I had to get back in line to tell them my onion rings were cold which took another 10 minutes of waiting. I called back to complain about my service and my order. I spoke to the Assistant manager Judy she told me to call and speak to the General manager Raj if I couldn't make to the store when she was there. I came back on Monday Sept. 4 2017 and informed the General manager Raj what happened and told her she said to replace my order. It wouldn't give me white meat claims the $5 box only comes with dark meat chicken. His attitude was awful he didn't care how i was treated and told me I could go to another store because Tuesdays is there busy day. Dpike to the Assistant manager that was here with him today his attitude was the same. When I asked him so they care about the customers he hunched his shoulder. I also asked why wasn't I asked did i need any sauce for my tenders he made up an excuse that people leave it in the waiting room. I asked him when I do the survey in the back of the receipt so they contact this store. He stated they send a email. This has to be the worst popeyes ever. I will never return here the customer service is awful and extremely slow to be fast food . If you want good food and great service try another popeyes because they don't have it. You can't expect the employees to have great customers service if the managers don't care how the service is in...
