Oh where to start?

While in the end the food was fresh, tasty, and really hit the spot, it took over 15 minutes to get the food. Seems that after I ordered and they asked me to pull around the building and someone would bring it out because it wasn't quite ready that they forgot that I was there. I inquired when I saw them bring food to another waiting vehicle how much longer mine would be and he was surprised that I was still there. After a few more minutes I decided to walk up and find out where my food was. Turns out it had been there ready for me and no one had brought it out.

Additionally, while I would never say that somebody should not have the opportunity to work regardless of their physical limitations, the person they had taking the order through the drive-through window has an obvious speech impediment that makes it very difficult to understand him even when he is speaking to you face to face. Having someone that has a hard time clearly communicating their words trying to communicate through a microphone that is difficult to understand in the best of circumstances to begin with feels like not the best role for that person. I'm sure they do a great job and have a lot of great skills but when the primary function of the job is to communicate over a microphone where you can't see the people being able to clearly pronounce and enunciate your words seems like a rather...

The food was good but my service was......just insanely frustrating. I had ordered a deal they offer where you can get 2 for $7 so my daughter and I picked our food from there I got a deep sea double she got chili dogs I also got 2 medium fries so after explaining that I wanted that 3 times he said it was $23 so I knew something was wrong so I went to the window and re-explained I think you may have mixed up what I said " I want the 2 for $7 1 deep sea double and the chili dogs plain for the 2nd part" now I hear them say that and 2 more employees who then come to question what I ordered after re-re-ordering and explaining the 4 things that I wanted to each of the employees, I get my food assuming after 3 or more people heard the order it has to be correct...WRONG🤦🏼‍♀️I get home and it was 4 chili dogs a fish sandwich and 1 fry. I am literally floored that after all that craziness my ordered still need up wrong. The guy at the counter was very nice and courteous. And if my order would have been right I would have highly recommended it. But after all that confusion over a simple order I say just go...

This Checkers is certainly on the show side when it comes to preparing your food. I've had two recent trips through their drive thru and ended up being sucked at how slowly they prepared the food. Both times waiting well in excess of five minutes after paying. And that's after waiting for the car in front of me to leave. I just don't understand the long delay, Both of my recent orders also included burger patties that were on the dry side. The chicken and fries we ordered were great, pipping hot, well seasoned and crispy. But the burgers were dry and lukewarm. It was disappointing both times. Overall, if I have to choose between Checkers and the McDonald's or Wendy's next door, then I'll choose one of the others each time. Wendy's is faster, tastes much better and isn't much more expensive. McDonald's is cheaper, faster, and the burgers are about the same, sometimes McDonald's burgers are better. I've had better experiences at the Checkers at 648 and 170, it seems this in just needs to step...
