My 2 young kids and I went in for Kids Eat Free Friday. The staff was friendly but there must not have been many people working because everything took a long time. We ordered had a few bites when my daughter said she needed to use the potty. So I take both kids to the restroom and left my barely touched food on the table. When we got back to the table it had been cleared and cleaned. When the staff realized I had come back, several minutes later, I asked that everything be remade. My kids were getting restless so when I saw another employee a few minutes later I asked that the food be made to go. After another long wait our food arrived without the drinks so I asked for those as well. Several minutes later someone came back with 2 kids apple juices but no hot chocolate so I had to wait several more minutes for that (more understandable than the rest because it had to be prepared but I shouldn’t have had to ask again). We left and when I got home I realized they gave me hash-browns instead of pancakes so I went back. Instead of making it all fresh and taking the cold food they had me wait another 10-20 minutes for just the 2 pancakes. I asked for that meal to be refunded and they couldn’t because I paid through the app. I went home and realized the receipt must have fallen out of my pocket while I was juggling the kids and the food. So I checked the app there was nothing in the history. Then I went to warm up my food and noticed my eggs had cheese in them. The ONLY thing positive about this entire situation was that my son...
Read moreThe IHOP app would be better if it included the option for customers ordering to be able to pay with cash Ecspecially for pick up and curb side orders so that food can be ready when customer arrives
Customers without their own vehicle who are paying Lyft or uber for a round-trip like I was can experience the same problem I had earlier tonight which is because I needed the funds in my debit to pay for the ride because the rides cannot be paid with cash I needed to pay cash my IHOP order however after going through the whole process of placing order on the IHOP app once the payment page no option for paying at restaurant when arrive to pick up order therefore I couldn't do so on app and therefore food couldn't start being prepared ahead of arrival and the app became an unless waste of time and effort to me. So now I had to go inside IHOP and reoder at the cash register and was told it would take 15 minutes to prepare which wouldn't be too bad if I wasn't paying Lyft for round-trip which you are only alloted 5 minutes for your stop at the 7th minute the driver can choose to cancel the trip or the driver can choose to continue your trip however every minute over the 5th minute is charged an excessive extra amount increasing the the total price of your fare...
Read moreWhen we first arrived everything seemed great. We were greeted by the hostess and seated. Our waitress and a young man in training came to our table to take our drink order. Our drinks arrived and we placed our order. Before our order arrived we placed a side order of bacon. Our order arrived and everything was fine. The waitress and her trainee stopped by our table to make sure we were satisfied with our meal so far. We told her that everything was fine. We completed our meal and waited around five (5) minutes for our bill to arrive at our table. The waitress told us to get her attention when we were ready. When we were ready the waitress was at the table behind us chatting with two (2) customers she seemed to know well. We waited for another five to six (5-6) minutes for her to notice that our payment (credit card) was on the table waiting for her. She looked our way several times but continued to talk to the two people who were in the next booth. My husband became frustrated and picked up his credit card. He replaced it with cash...leaving a much smaller tip than the waitress would have received if she had done a better job at getting us out of there. The restaurant was not busy...
