Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Maryland

What more is there to say, it's Rita's! Lol! I love Rita's especially the one in North East, partially because it's closest, I try to stop there at least 2 or 3 times a week. I'll grab a gelati and usually a pint of the custard for later, lol! It's so good. My dog loves it too, so I have to get him a little bit of vanilla too. Don't worry, I ration it out to him so it's not too much at once, lol. It's different than buying the ice in a store or the gelato stuff. The service is the rest of the reason I go to that one. I don't know what the employees are classified as, they're like ice baristas, lol. But, they always are so pleasant and every one serves the customers with a smile on their face, everytime. It actually seems like they legitimately enjoy being employed there and that's awesome because so many younger people out there today don't like working in an active setting doing physical jobs. They run back and forth all day or night long so nobody can even argue if their job is physical. The whole time with a smile on their faces. Great job Rita's!! P. Rita’s Water Ice really hits the spot, especially on a hot day. Their Italian ice is smooth, packed with flavor, and seriously refreshing. I always go for mango or cherry, but they have so many choices it’s hard to pick just one. I also love their soft serve! It’s super creamy, and the Gelati, which layers the ice and custard together, is the best of both worlds. The staff is usually friendly and fast, and the prices are fair for what you get. I adore Rita's! They are fast, accurate, helpful and completely delicious! I enjoy this so much better than traditional ice cream. I have gone here at least a dozen times in the past year and they have never gotten an order wrong or been unfriendly.

My only complaint is that the trash can is right next to the right side service window. This typically wouldn't be a problem, except there are dozens of flies that are swarming around the trash bin, making the process a bit...
