Read moreEveryone was friendly and efficient, and the Philly cheese steak was good. I didn't know about the credit card service fee until I read the review from the person who noticed it on his receipt.
When I ordered the food at the counter, they asked whether I was using cash or credit, but they didn't mention anything about the service fee.
As I was leaving, I noticed that I didn't have my credit card. I looked in all my pockets and on the seats, the table and the floor, and I didn't find it. I mentioned it to my server, and she checked at the counter. They had the card at the counter, and they hadn't returned it to me until I asked about it. I guess they wouldn't have said a word if I hadn't asked about it.
There were very few customers in the restaurant at the time I was there. It would have been easy for them to check around to find the customer who had the same name as the credit card, but they didn't. This was hugely disappointing.
3/25/24 The restaurant said, in their answer to my one star review that I had left the card in the terminal. They only noticed that it was there when I asked about the card after finishing my meal. As I mentioned in my review, there were very few customers while I was there so it's probably correct that no one else used that terminal while I was eating my lunch. I increased my star rating to three stars. I would have given five stars except for the pesky credit card fee situation. It's not the fee itself. I don't mind paying a bit extra for the convenience of not having to carry cash. It's just that they should have told me about the fee when I told them that I was going to pay with a credit card.
I no longer live in Cecil County, but I lived there for over 40 years, and I have eaten at Pat's in Elkton and in North East many times over the years. I've always...
Read moreFood is good and typically worth the pricier that it is. I get delivery from here whenever I order out typically. The wings are amazing but sometimes when I order the chicken Alfredo the garlic knots were hard but I dont really like garlic knots and it was right before closing so I don't mind and understand.
Here's my only annoyance and why I'm kind of thinking about starting to order elsewhere tho. (Only a small thing nothing about the food or service). So when ordering online (i dont know if its offline too I only order delivery) theres a rewards tab. Whenever I get close to it I normally immeediantly use it or next couple days. First time I got it it was in the tab where one would think it would be. However second time reaching it it wasnt there so i thought maybe i just need to order again... once again like 120+ and next time still isnt there, at that point at the 120 I call and ask. The dude on the phone just said that it doesnt count the same one itll show up after which wasn't the problem but knew prob just thought didnt know what I was talking about. Next time I order out again I look and its still not there so I call again this time getting same response from a lady but when further asked about it get told they also send it through email. So when I finally check it its expired but never showed up in the rewards tab in the first place only by email. I tell the lady and she didnt seem to care much and was just like well unfortunely they do expire. I tried to send feedback on the site but it wouldnt load the contact us 3 seperate times i tried and tried to email the email address posted on another view like a week ago and never got any response. I would be less annoyed if I felt those when called tried to help more or seemed more empathetic.
