I’ve been recommended to this place several times over the years. Today was my first time on a date. I ordered the crab dip. It lacked flavor. He ordered the seafood stuffed oysters. The flavor of the seafood stuffing was good, but he kept saying he felt like he was chewing or something gritty, maybe dirt. I also ordered a small house salad. It wasn’t too fresh and the ranch wasn’t the best so therefore I didn’t eat it. I ordered lasagna, which had no flavor. The lasagna made me grateful for the non-flavored crab dip. I had to wait until I got home to add some Mrs. Dash and some garlic salt. He ordered the spaghetti with meatballs again no flavor. The best thing about anything that we ordered, turned out to be the stuffing for the seafood on the oysters as it had more flavor than my crab dip. We asked for boxes to go as I knew I had to Dr the food up once I got home. Definitely left the salad. Very disappointing I didn’t look at the bill, but I’m sure it wasn’t worth it since we didn’t eat the food. I probably won’t be back. As far as the waiter, she was just a waiter nothing special at all. Out of all the dates we’ve had, we agreed this was by far was the worst we’ve had. Update: I decided to season the spaghetti and try to eat it. Both huge meatballs are red/pink on the inside. I most definitely won’t be back.

Have gotten Rucci's pizzas as take out only in the past, which are very delicious by the way. This time, the family and I decided to dine in. Our waiter was very attentive with a great attitude as well as the restaurant staff. The summer coctail menu will not disappoint. I had a cucumber basil and summer watermelon martini. Both were very refreshing and tasty. The cream of crab soup was the best I've ever had and garnished with some nice chunks of crabmeat on top. My wife had the two crab cakes dinner and my daughter had the caprese salad. We all shared the charcuterie plate as the appetizer, as well as the Rucci's 6oz oversized meatball. I enjoyed the grilled shrimp with fettuccine Alfredo. For dessert, we had the flourless chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream on the side. The dessert was gobbled up quickly and was very rich and fudgy. The food was super delicious as well as the service and overall ambiance. We will definitely be regulars at Rucci's! I highly recommend!

Rucci's has some great Italian food and Maryland seafood. We were greeted and seated by our friendly hostess. Our waitress answered all our questions and we put in our order. First up was the Big Bambino Italian Cold Cut sub, filled past capacity with capicola, salami, mortadella, provolone and fontinella and they were all top shelf, but what drives this sub over the top is the crusty bread. For those who already know true Italian bread, I don't have to describe the pillowy insides and the hard outer crust, for the rest of you this is true Italian bread. Second on the order was an Italiano Doughboy, filled with Pepperoni, sausage seasoning and mozzarella. The doughboy is then shallow fried, so this handful of deliciousness is like a fried personal calzone. And I said that Italian food couldn't get any more delicious, I was wrong. It's going to take a while to order the rest of the must trys on the menu. See you all again soon.

UPDATE 06/20/25: so we had some issues with Rocco’s a few years ago but since then we’ve eaten there a number of times and the food is usually really good. My favorite is their Cream of Crab soup; you can see it pictured on the menu and yes, it normally looks like the picture. Today we ordered and I when I got home, I found that their normal cream of crab had been replaced with something resembling watery cream with oil floating around the edges. There is maybe 3 pieces of crab. It doesn’t look edible and is going directly in the trash. I’m so very disappointed. I’m dropping my review to one star. Someone had to know when they were serving this that it was below an acceptable standard.

I wanted to give 5 stars and I would have 12 months ago, but I picked up carry out today and was once again disappointed. I ordered the Gotti which typically comes with au jus on the side. The last 3 times I ordered the same it didn’t come with any. I’ve always asked when ordering even though the sandwich states it comes with it. Typically I check my order, discover it’s missing and ask for some before leaving. This time my bags were tied in such a tight knot, I couldn’t check without tearing the bags. This seems like such a small thing and it makes me think that they don’t really care about details any longer. Beyond that, our fries were cold, the sub rolls hard, and I was greeted by indifference when I arrived. It was busy, but no one said hello. The bartender made eye contact and quickly looked away. There were 3 employees off to the side chatting and the girl who filled my order couldn’t bother to smile. I think this will be our last time at Rucci’s for awhile. I’m hopeful they’ll address their lacking customer service skills and make some needed improvements. This place was much nicer when it...

I have gotten takeout several times this year and the food was really good. So this year I told my kids I wanted to go to Rucci's for my birthday dinner which was on a Wednesday. Called for reservations and was told they only could do 4pm or 7pm and So we did the 7pm time slot. When we were seated we were told that they had a large party so he would do his best not to keep us waiting. We had appetizers the crab dip and soup were awesome as always. Then dinner came both my sons ordered the Alfredo with chicken and broccoli, which I said was the best I ever had, both my sons SAID IT HAD NO TASTE I took a bite and had to agree with them I asked the waiter for some old bay and told him it had no flavor what so ever he never said a word just gave us some old bay which really didn't help much. My daughter and my self had the roasted red potatoes with our meals which were not fully cooked and had a taste of dirt. my oldest daughter and granddaughter meals were very good . my sons ordered 2 bowls of crab soup to take home because there Alfredo meals tasted like nothing. I assumed coming in at 7 the rush on a week night would not be a issue, wow, was I wrong. After spending basically $200. I feel that the waiter could have apologized or offered something else in place of the food...
