Safa's Pizza — Restaurant in Maryland

Ordered from here before but it’s always been subs and stuff. Decided to order a large pepperoni pizza for delivery, simple and easy.. Safa’s is only a few minutes away so we were just looking for something close so we didn’t have to wait forever. First of all delivery guy was driving like a maniac. But whatever... everything was fine until I opened the pizza. Delivery dude must’ve had it tilted because all the cheese and sauce had slid over to one side. And the garlic sauce was opened and spilled everywhere. So I call and tell him and he said he would come back. I assumed that meant he was going to fix it? When he showed up empty handed I was confused and asked where the pizza was. He asked if I had called the store and I said no I called you. He said he needed to look at the pizza. So he drove all the way back to my house just to look at it?..... then he said he needed to take a picture to show his manager. Never ended up hearing back from them so we just ate the pizza since it had been an hour and a half of waiting at that point and we were starving, and I wasn’t about to call them AGAIN. Pizza would’ve been decent if it hadn’t gotten messed up although the dough was slightly undercooked. Terrible service. Thought the customer was always right... Probably won’t be ordering from here again, and certainly won’t be ordering...

I’ve been ordering for years here. Food has always been great. Prices are fair and in par with the other places. My last several orders through EAT24/Grubhub however turned out to be very disappointing. One time I waited over 3 hrs and 15 mins. Very disappointing since they’re only a block from me! Their excuse was that they’re busy...which eventually turned out that they miss seeing the order that was sent to them by Grubhub. They’re method of order tracking/receiving seems to be unorganized. It’s a shame because I will not order there again and will definitely recommend to my friends and family to avoid similar disappointing experiences by avoiding Safas. The bright side is we’ll be able to give the other places a try. Normally I wouldn’t write a negative review. Messing up once is understandable. Twice, I can see how it might have happened. Three times even...I get it, I worked in customer service/retail nvironments before. To happen 4 or more times....that’s a track record I can’t support. ORDER AT...

We did delivery as we are truck drivers, we have eaten across America and as I always say, you do not get better food than here on the upper East coast. This food was one of, the pizza, thank you, was or is my top 2 for places now, taste,texture,bite, flavor packed to the max, even eating it cold as I type I want more but I have to share. We got a couple of sandwiches, I got the eggplant parm, what a fresh taste, my girl,co-driver, got the cheesesteak, flavor,flavor,flavor. We had the assorted apps, nothing disappointing, enjoyment to the top, I truly wish we could have driven the truck there but it is what it is. The big question, would I recommend this place? With a loud he'll yeh, this is a gem in the rough, you locals have something worth bragging about. Go,Enjoy,Eat, this is truly great food, as always,...
