Sam's Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Maryland

Sams Pizza and Subs NEVER disappoints! I wish I took pictures of everything I have ordered from here. If more people in the area knew about this little spot that is hidden in the corner off of B&A Blvd in a little building kinda behind McDonald’s They would have so much more business it would be unbelievable!!! I have everyone in my home hooked and other people in the area!! This place is so much more than your standard Pizza wings and subs. First of all their wings are phenomenal. My friend ordered them one time and they smelled so good I picked one up and I couldn’t stop eating them… Mind you I wasn’t even hungry! This place has crab dip everything which you never see in a pizza place. I’m talking Crab dip fries, pizza,pretzel and just regular dip by itself. I just ordered a gyro and a BLT. Hopefully I can post pictures. I get the bacon on the side if you are able to see pictures but look at the amount of meat they give you for the Gyro. It is so good! And forget a cheeseburger sub just get one of their regular cheeseburgers. When they say they are fresh, they are fresh and they are HUGE and on amazing rolls. None of their bread is ever stale. It’s always super fresh just like it is on this Gyro. Their club sandwiches are so big and so good. The jalapeño poppers are the ones with cream cheese instead of that nasty cheddar cheese. I could go on and on. All the things that I normally would not order from a pizza and sub place because it’s old or stale etc. is the complete opposite here. I try to order something different every time. Every time it never disappoints like I said! And they DELIVER!!! I mean it is more of a carry out place but so good! The staff is super friendly! They deliver all down through Pasadena. Give it a try! I haven’t had much luck with Delivery places down here except one I think I posted. Oh and something I have been wanting to try is I can’t remember the name of it but it’s basically a sub with thousand island dressing so something like a Big Mac but it’s a sub. Lol! And I’m sure 100 times better! Items like that or the crab dip items is what makes this place so cool. ( Keep in mind this is a pizza and sub carry out so don’t expect top of the line jumbo lump crab dip lol but it is good for a Pizza place) They really take pride in their food! So really read the description of some of the things and don’t be scared to try food that normally wouldn’t be good at a pizza delivery spot because I promise you it will be good! I just posted some pictures. I’m waiting for them to show up. I’ll post more pics each time I order from there. When you call in your order, mention my post and tell them it’s your first time eating there so they make it extra special! Sorry this is so long, I just can’t get over a little pizza spot being that good. I could go on...

Excellent customer service (which is a requisite)! Chris and the cashier (I didn't catch his name) were super sweet and helpful. The Big Daddy Fries (I got tots instead of French fries) are heaven. I'll definitely be back!

Update: Still great customer service. However, I RAVED about the chicken wings to friends. Raved. I've had them 3 times. The first two times they were the best wings I ever had, even with the orders not being perfect. Until this past weekend. I specifically asked that my wings have ample sauce and not be dry. Several of the wings were pretty much plain; practically no sauce at all on them. Also, whenever I have ordered parmesan wings in the past, they came with a ton of minced garlic and this seasoned buttery sauce that coated and saturated the wings. It was heavenly. This time, not only did some of the parmesan wings have no sauce at all, but the sauce was 100% different. Thick and kinda flavorless and no minced garlic. Like, it wasn't the same flavor of wing at all, which is my favorite kind! The bbq wings had a thin reddish-orange bbq sauce; not the thick dark red sauce from before. Again, different wing than before. Overall, they were not good. I ate them because I paid for them, but I was extremely disappointed. I have never had anything bad from Sam's until today. $49 for lunch to have a birthday soggy pizza burger sub, a very bland chicken in cream rose sauce with penne pasta had no flavor at all not to mention the salad was in the bag with the hot food I mean somepeople like hot wilted salads me not so much. it took an hour to get here (I get it, it's lunch time) but when I called to let them know they asked what can they do. I asked for a credit and was told no he can't give me a $40 credit he will re make the food witch I would have loved but I don't have an hour to wait as I have to get to work or send the driver back with my money and that is what they did. not that i was going to not tip the driver being that it's not his fault but when he brought my money back he only handed me $40, not the $49 that I originally gave him. kinda bold of him just to assume he was to keep the tip. I used to recommend Sam's to all my friends but I will not be sending them anymore business. I get if I complained in the past but I haven't. so looks like I'm going to work my 22nd day in a row hungry and aggravated. Damn...
