I'm rating as an all you can eat customer. Pretty solid, for all you can eat it's actually quite good. It makes my review hard to be accurate since you can get anywhere from 1 roll to as many as you want with endless apps and drinks. Do note you have to finish what you order as any leftovers are charged accordingly. It's a step below truly great sushi but make no mistake, this is still quite good stuff. Come with an open stomach and $25 or more and have a great time. The atmosphere is great and the service is not only attentive but very quick. I had 3 rolls, 2 apps, and a drink in under an hour. Top notch. The actual rolls are pretty varied and there are a good number of options all around. I got red snapper and octopus sashimi with 3 totally different rolls, and my 3 friends' orders were completely unique from my own. Best part is you can keep going and never increase the price unless your appetite runs dry. However some corners are cut, reasonably, to accommodate the all you can eat possibilities and price. No sushi place could stay in business with this price offering top notch seafood, it's simply impossible and I'm sure they already cut profits close. I only say this because you do get some tasty stuff and full-sized portions to boot but some people may be expecting too much. Their rolls don't cut corners on size in the slightest. I'm a big guy and I needed all the help I could get in finishing what I started. All in all don't plan on being blown away by quality but plan on being steamrolled by the quantity but do plan on being very, very satisfied with what you get for the price. The bang for your buck here is incredible and nothing else is like it for many a mile, maybe even many a state. If you want to annihilate some sushi this is as good as it gets. And boy do I love...
Read moreThis sushi all-you-can-eat meal is definitely a case of 'you get what you pay for.' It's decent for the price and the sushi is not bad, but it's not the best sushi experience out there. I've been here a few times with friends, and while it's a fun way to try new types of sushi without breaking the bank, there are a few things to bear in mind.
Firstly, the sushi is overloaded with rice. If you're a fan of fish-heavy sushi rolls, this might not be the place for you. Secondly, the wait time between orders is fairly long, so you might find yourself getting full before really making the most of the all-you-can-eat deal. Additionally, sometimes your orders might not make it to your table, but you can always order them again. However, you will likely have to wait quite a bit for the next order.
One aspect that stands out is the service. Usually, there is only one waitress who zips around quickly, taking orders, delivering food, and checking out customers. While she does her best, it can get busy and the service may seem a bit slow at times. However, she is efficient and friendly, which makes the experience pleasant overall.
Overall, if you're looking for a budget-friendly sushi experience, this all-you-can-eat meal is not a bad option. The sushi is decent and it's a fun way to try a range of different rolls. Just be prepared for a long wait between orders, potentially waiting for missing orders, and limited service. It's not the best sushi experience out there, but you can get your money's worth. Personally, I can spend that same amount on quality sushi and be...
Read moreTLDR: The best all you can eat sushi restaurant in Maryland. Great service and vast endless sushi/hot food selection. Go to spot for hungry sushi enthusiasts.
Vibe: 3/5. Nothing fancy but gets the job done. The restaurant is tucked away in a strip mall with plenty of parking. Inside, there are approximately 7-8 booths and several 4 tops on the center. The sushi bar also can accommodate diners.
Service: 4/5. Prompt and polite, the wait staff does a great job taking orders, running sushi and refilling drinks. Sushi and hot food all come out at a relatively quick pace, even during peak hours. I have dined at this establishment over 2 dozen times and have never had a bad experience
Food: 5/5. For all you can eat, this is some really good sushi! The all you can eat menu offers up not only your basic maki, but nigiri, sashimi and around a dozen speciality rolls. In addition to that, you have a generous selection of endless hot/cold appetizers ranging from tasty gyozas to seaweed salad. All this for $20-25 (prices change from lunch/dinner) which is impossible to beat if you are a big eater. On a typical trip to General House, I eat around 7-8 rolls and 2-3 orders of nigiri as well as a few hot appetizers. Needless to say I always get my...
