I used to love this Smoothie King. I went here at least 3 times a week, especially during the summer. Everyone was cheerful and helpful. After today, my opinion of this place has changed. I appreciate the efforts they have made towards healthier food and was happy to see Epic jerkies available; however, today's service was inexcusable. The person taking my order seemed confused, which may have been due to inexperience (that's cool, I'm not that difficult a person), but the girl at the cash register was flat out rude. She called me over to pay for my smoothie and told me the total. I requested using my phone number as I didn't have my phone on me, she instantly became annoyed. I requested cashing in my rewards points. She didn't proceed to tell me how many I had or if it even covered the entire bill. She printed my receipt and before handing it off to me, loudly stated, "next!" quickly becoming embarrassed when she realized no one else was in the room. I visited at 9 am on a weekday.. I had surgery a few days prior, had just left the doctor's, and wanted something refreshing to drink.
Immediately upon entering, I noticed the dirty rug at the entrance. The store was just honestly filthy. This tells me that no one cleaned this place the night before. But as dirty as everything else is, I dont believe this place gets cleaned frequently. The chairs were filthy, the floors, the counters, just gross.
I am not sure if this store is an individually owned and operated franchise, but irregardless, Smoothie King's name is what people see, and this is their brand.
I don't understand how a business or business owner sells healthy drinks with their store looking like this? It makes me wonder how clean it is behind the counters. I felt the young man preparing the drinks should have also been wearing disposable...
Read moreSo smoothies have become part of my daily routine when going to work and school…before I would say 1 month ago I delighted coming to this store…I’ve been trying to catch the manager but have not been able to to let him know that the few people he has hired within these last two months SUCK!! My smoothies do not taste the same the females have ear plugs in when taking my order (which is why they probably can’t get my order right) the consistency of the smoothies are watery and I just get frustrated given instructions when I’m in a rush and have ordered online. The two young boys ARE THEE BEST! I try to tip them every time I come in and they’re there. However when I come in now if I don’t see them I turn around. I hope management sees this and appreciate my concern for a change...
