So, I’ve been a loyal customer to Sushi Q 2.5 for a year now and I love their sushi so good. I’ve always had a great experience there and it’s quick service. Today I went and I’ve had the worst experience. My partner and I went in and weren’t even greeted. We asked for a table for two and the man just gestured to the seating areas which is fine. We sat and he gave us our menus. Another couple comes in and they are white and the man walks them to their seat, with the menus in hand and asks them if they want anything to drink. We haven’t even been asked if we want any. Finally after he gets their drinks, we finally get asked if we want anything and if we’re ready to order. We order and I look over, the other coupe gets their food before us. We don’t even have our drinks at this point. We get our food and it’s phenomenal. We only get asked if we’re okay and need anything once. He asked the other couple if they need anything and also asked them if they need refills. Mind you, my drink was almost gone too and I was never asked that. After we’re finished, we’re still getting the food out our teeth he comes with the check and we never asked for it. And my partner wanted more food but he didn’t even ask. Another set of people come in and they are also white, the same thing happens. They get seated, immediately asked if they wanted drinks. At that point I was very over it. And after my partner finished her second course, he gave us the check again without asking us. This was the WORST experience ever and will...
Read moreI placed a carryout order for two orders of sushi and spring rolls. I sat at a table waiting for my food and eventually decided to dine after meeting a friend of mine.
Once the order was prepared I grabbed the bag and returned to the table to eat. That’s when a female employee informed me that I was not allowed to dine in because I ordered carryout.
I was confused and questioned the policy, since the restaurant was empty outside of two other customers who were dining in & the employees.
The employee went on to say that this was a policy implemented on Fridays as if that made any more sense.
I asked if there was an additional fee to dine in, which if reasonable, I would have paid, but was told there was no dine-in fee.
After I pointed out that the restaurant was empty and stated that we would have been done eating by now had it not been for her insane interruption, she stated that “we could dine in this time”.
Needless to say we lost our appetite and left.
To be clear, the restaurant was EMPTY, there was NO rush of customers, one other person picked up an order in the 30 minutes I was there.
I will NEVER...
Read moreUpdate 8\2\25: On this visit we were a little disappointed. On the door and on the counter were signs that said Self Serve (basically it's counter service) and we were told the same when we asked for a table for two. We decided to place an order for take out since while we looked at the menu another table was busing their own table before they left. There were at least 4 people working there or standing behind the counter. When I asked if this would be permanent I was told it might be for about a month while ownership was changing. Let's hope things go back soon to how it was previously if not even better.🤞
Restaurant is clean. Four booths, one table and a couple of chairs at the sushi bar. They do NOT take reservations. Nota BYOB. They do have an Adult Beverage menu. Just ask for it.
The order came out quickly. Presentation and freshness is as good as Sushi Q2. Everything...
