After Corporate stole my/our (close to 50+ regulars) 3rd place, store number 7249...{which several of us have tattoos of BTW 7249%-er is reviewing star bucks just so you know.}...we occasionally stop in to this one because Fran is the greatest & Coleman too. We love them very much but I'm writing in regards to 7249. It was stolen, closed and missmanaged into the red. It was my/our cheers, community center, church, bar, night club, Junto...&...oh what did Star Bucks use to call it? OUR 3RD PLACE! not work not home our 3rd place. Look if 7249 was closed due to poor performance or something within it's control. I wouldn't be writing this novel. Star Bucks isn't the reason myself and at least 50 other people I know went there. It was our place. Star Bucks threw up 11 de billion other stores near by and you killed 7249. To make up for your mistake you closed it. What if we were a marginalized population? Some of us absolutely are and you took away from us all of those things I listed. You really disbanded a community. I have a wife and 2 kids. For 20 years I went there. Couples met, people came into our lives there, we lost close friends there and my kids spent their childhood on that corner. 4 drinks 4 days out of 7, 30+ weeks out of 52. We go to the drive thru one now maybe once a week. 90% of the friends we had don't go at all. There's about 4 table's...which you can't smoke at....fine but it's a drive through? Care to guess what impact easy pass had on toll booth operator's cancer rates? On premature birth rates? Try 80% less in some cases. So we can't smoke but we can sit next to car exhaust.... Literally nothing about it makes sense. DM Amy on down in this organization ROCKS! but clearly above them. The people making decisions have their heads up their @$$es. My alternative life style friends no longer have a place to come together, AA & NA folks lots a place to relax and what we got in it's place sucks. A converted bank. Which has a pass perfectly suited for sheltered seating because when it rains now. We get to sit in our cars. If you're asking yourself "why even go at this point buddy?". Well news flash you're not the only one. Again hardly any of us still go at all let alone at the rates we used to go. To recap...Amyclae Buck's rocks, Bel Air Plaza Buck's employees rock! But you destroyed our 3rd place and disbanded a community taking away 7249, Market Place drive. I know we should be over it but we aren't and that's why we don't give you our money anymore. Amy on down absolutely Rock's! The people above Amy suck eggs. There isn't a corporate buzz word or philosophy that can really change that...
Read moreNov 2 was my birthday and I was looking forward to getting my free drink. I ordered it on the app along with egg bites. I paid and waited for my time to go in and pick up. I got there a minute after the time it said to and didn’t see my drink anywhere so I stepped aside and waited. 12 minutes later I look at the orders that were ready and see my egg bites were there the whole time but no drink. I politely ask the barista if she could check as a group of friends walked in, ordered at the register, and all were staring to get their drinks. The barista was extremely rude and told me to look around, they are buried in drink orders. I tried to simply explain my situation and she rolled her eyes saying I’m sure it’ll be out soon and to be patient. Then finally asked my name. My drink was sitting unfinished on the counter behind her and she confirmed it was not ready yet. She also decided to loudly point out that this is how it was going to be from now until the holiday. My thought was “what disorganized?” I have complete understanding for being busy. I was a barista. But to put out egg bites 20 mins before the drink when I had ordered online was ridiculous and to be that rude on top of it. I said don’t worry I won’t be back. So much for customer service. Very disappointed and my drink was...
Read moreI don't get what the big deal about Starbucks is... all the frappes and lattes taste the same... to me they taste the same, somewhat watered down, thin, and not as good as a $2.00 McCafe frappe & cold brew frappe at McDonald's. I have highly developed taste buds and have a memory for tastes and can recreate recipes if I choose but I want to emphasize that my comments about Starbucks coffee drinks are strictly my humble opinion.(The very best frozen coffee drink is at Nordstrom's coffee bar. To me, nothing is ever as good as the MOCHA ICE STORM at Nordstrom's. I was a so-so coffee drinker for the caffeine ~ but just one taste of that drink made me a confirmed coffee drinker! I gladly pay $5.00 plus for that amazing tall and phenomenal speciality. [Starbucks isn't even in the running but they could be!!! I still try every new drink but so far I am not impressed enough to...
