TGI Fridays — Restaurant in Maryland

Excellent Food and Great Staff! Highley Reccomend! As long as I've lived in the DMV I stayed hearing about this Fridays from friends and family. I finally had a chance to visit and I loved it! Friendly customer service, especially from our waiter. Wish I could remember his name but if you're like me you want to enjoy your meal and not be asked how is everything every other bite or every five minutes. At this place? You're allowed to eat in peace. I must've ate lunch with my woman almost 30 minutes and was only checked on twice.

It is very clean here too unlike some places that look dingy and kind of dirty and not well lit. Not an issue at this place and it's very roomy, capable of seating multiple friends if you're traveling in say a party of 6-10. The food was very good! My girl had the chicken tenders and french fries, I had French fries and a grilled chicken BLT. It tasted so good. The food overall is very clean, taste very fresh, you can really taste the freshness in all the toppings and ingredients used, barely taste oil used. Note the way they did the tenders wasn't overkill on flour coating at all. It was lightly coated with right amount of flour.

If I were to have one grip it was that our fries tasted cold. They tasted fresh like maybe it was made an hour ago and someone put them in the microwave for 20 seconds so when we got them they were kinda chilled. For me I love them hot. Not scorching but given the impression they are fresh off the grill. I mean at least heat them up longer.

If you love IPA's I reccomend the Flying Dog. Also, for great appetizers go with the pretzel sticks with beer battered cheddar mixed with red and green bell peppers and seasoning! Nice and hot, fresh, and soooooo moist!

Will be back again for sure!! Highly recommend if you're in the area to go! You won't be disappointed! Next time adding dessert...

Food has always been great! But the service has went downhill tremendously. Last night's visit was by far one of our worst dining experiences we have encountered. Extremely disappointed doesn't even cover it. We arrived at 830pm so well after the dinner rush. We sat for over 15 minutes before someone came to take our drink order, didn't greet the table or introduce theirs self or have a name badge on. I do know the name (from check) but won't blast name on Google. Anyways, while we had someone at the table we gave the drink and appetizer order. Someone else delivered our food. About 30 minutes later my husband finally had to wave our server down to let her know we would like to order our entrees as she had never came back to our table. We had been there for an hour still didn't have our food. Another couple was sat close by after an hour, they had their drinks then entrees delivered and we still didn't have our food delivered. So my husband again called the waitress over to inquire about our food. She goes to check and brings part of the food out. My husbands meal had a salad which was never delivered so he asked for it to be boxed, yet she brought it out with his meal anyways so we boxed it ourself. I'd like to note prior to the waitress coming for our drink order my daughter overheard and saw this waiter decline taking our table. I'm not sure if because we are an interracial couple with children they thought we wouldn't tip. But they are new servers. We have been dining in frederick for years and tgif is my children's favorite place to eat. We are great tippers. Although her horrible service deserved the bare minimum we still tipped 20% because we wanted to prove the other jerks theory that we would be bad tippers wrong. After a rough week, my sister and I went to Fridays for dinner and a drink. Usually we are happy there although the weekend service is usually slow. Tonight however, I was so disappointed and frustrated. We waited to be seated although there were tables. Our waitress did not come take our drink order for over 20 minutes. Maybe she was new. Our orders were not right but ok, I can even deal with that. We had a coupon that I was emailed as a loyalty member. The waitress did not know how to do this and said the manager had to take care of it. He was so busy apologizing to so many tables that it took him 25 minutes to get to our check. And then, he overcharged us. Really? We pointed out the prices in the menu and how the check did not reflect the prices in the menu. Then we had to wait again for the manager to look at it. After waiting forever and a day, we get our check and our basically told the manager helped us by giving us the price that is printed in the menu. The manager's name was Tony. He never once came to our table to apologize or check in with us. Very disappointing. TGI Fridays should not put unknowledgeable waitresses and inept managers on staff on a busy Saturday night.
