Oh how I love cracker barrel I wish we had one here in Hanover the food is always so good and even the drinks the homemade iced tea is always fresh and fantastic with a big slice of fresh lemon. Every time I go there I try something different but I've never been disappointed. I have never left without a doggie bag either. I got the chicken Popeye this time and my leftovers that I brought home that need for two more meals. Cracker barrel is always fun because you can browser store while you're waiting for a table and look at all of the cute beautiful little things they have on display. The tempting part is not spending a fortune before you even sat down to dinner. If you can just tell yourself..... I'll think about it till after dinner., . You'll probably be too full to even think about stopping to buy it you'll just want to get in the car and sit down so you can get home and go take a nap after the big meal that was so fantastic and just filled your belly. Along with the great food The waitresses are always so accommodating polite and cordial. As well the restaurant is always kept nice and clean and it's just like eating at a friend's house. If it's a real nice day out you can eat and settle in their front porch in the rocking chairs until your table is ready. I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHEN THEY'RE GOING TO GET A RESTAURANT OF CRACKER BARREL HERE IN HANOVER, PA 17331 THERE'S PLENTY OF SPOTS RIGHT OUT ON EISENHOWER THAT THEY COULD TAKE OVER I'M SURE THEY WOULD HAVE A FULL HOUSE EVERY TIME THEY ARE OPEN JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER RESTAURANT THEY HAVE IN THE AREA.

CRACKER BARREL IS ALWAYS A WINNER IN MY BOOK! That's saying a lot because I'm not an advocate of dining out. After losing 180 lb 19 years ago I usually cook my own meals and eat at home. Due to the economy and all of the increases in prices especially at the grocery store I've been a little more lenient with eating out. However it has just reinforced the fact that I get a better meal at home except for at cracker barrel they can compete with my home cooking any day and at the right price. I've noticed lately at many restaurants proportion size have decreased noticeably as well as the quality of some of the things they are using to prepare the meals are not up to par with what used to be. Having a refined fat person's pallet I might as well have been a professional chef I can taste everything down to what kind of butter they put in the biscuit. LOL it's the truth though! I love me some cracker barrel! Come on Hanover let's rally to get us a cracker barrel. I can't believe they don't have one here in our neighborhood already we have so many new places in the area. I'd give them all up for a...

Here's another restaurant I find myself at a minimum of twice per week. I love the cozy atmosphere the fireplace provides during the cold winter months. Last week my sister and I went to Cracker Barrel for lunch since I am a fairly common customer who comes on a weekly basis our waitresses was familiar that I am a regular and The lunch rush was not even that busy on this day. She must have been overwhelmed or easily distracted taking much too long to take our drink orders even though we were also prepared to order our meals. It just so happens that the both of us happen to stand up at the exact same time to leave without having lunch first, as we we decided it was better to just get-up-and-go then to pick up my daughter late from Pre-K and have to pay a let’s fee. Upon walking out the door we were stopped by the manager working that shift by the name of Sydney who got straight to the point and asked us what we wanted to order and very professionally insisted that we go have a seat back to the table where we came from. Within 5 minutes he had our drinks and food ready to go! If all restaurants were lucky enough to have managers who treated their customers the way Sydney treated us then every single one of those restaurants would easily be successful. I only ask that Cracker Barrel go the extra mile and provide Sydney with the recognition he definitely deserves…. at a very least a bonus on his next check!!! *I know that I wrote this review over a year ago, but I feel the need to update it due to the nature of service that I recently encountered by another manager by the name of Richard who carries himself with extreme professionalism, and made my visit to the Frederick Cracker Barrel location much more comfortable than I had anticipated the other day. Whomever is in charge of hiring the managers (and employees) of this location is doing an excellent job because I have yet to encounter any other managers who are not out to provide anything other than excellent customer service and are not above going out of their way to ensure that each customer leaves extremely satisfied. Keep up the good work Cracker Barrel and I will continue to visit on a weekly basis where every employee makes me feel as if I am a guest in...

Came to Frederick location with family and was ok. Waiter was snotty at first but quickly came around and was friendly. Our food came out and was beyond cold that our one year old wouldn't eat it. Asked an older worker didn't get her name for a manager. She was extremely rude stuck her nose in the air and stormed away. The younger shift leader came out seen our complaints of cold food even the gravy and mash potatoes was filmed over and hardening our child wasn't going to eat that. Shift leader was making it right grabbing salad dressing for my husband's salad when the lady we had asked prior to speak with manager came back approached our table from behind me and snatched everything up and out of our hands forcibly was uncalled for the amount of insubordination from this employee was out of control!!!! Mind you our newborn and one year was at the table could of gotten severely injured with her actions. My one year is now traumatized from this crying and refusing to eat their dinner. Employee yelling at my husband & I saying we was complaining food was nasty , cold should of ate it anyway. I had enough of the disrespect from this woman I stood my ground cussed her back and demanded answers for her absurd actions that could of went south very quickly and land our children injured and more serious issues for C.B. to face. The woman also claimed she was the manager when in fact she wasn't. I will say our waiter the shift leader and actual manager for 9/12/2024 @530 pm were amazing after witnessing this whole thing go down. Never been so humiliated and embarrassed so much in my life in front a restaurant full of people!!! She had my anxiety adrenaline going all at once I lost my appetite. Told the manager it took everything I had not to hit this lady due to fact of her actions and placing hands on both me and my husband for no reason!!!! She absolutely needs to be reprimanded and the only thing we did ask the manager for is we wanted to know WHY? THIS ACTION ON THEIR EMPLOYEE PART WAS STRAIGHT PREJUDICE! LOST OUR SERVICE AFTER YEARS OF COMING HERE AND SPENDING OVER 100...

We arrived on Wed at 440. The restaurant was nearly empty except almost all tables had trash on them. The trash in photo has been at table at least one hour. To say service is slow is an understatement. It has now been over an hour since we have arrived. While most tables are dirty with few customers the hostess is on phone and 2 cashiers talking...... There hasn't been a customer for at least 10min to ring up. I understand lack of employees but perhaps multitasking could be taught. I may add at 440 we waited 5min to be sat in an almost empty restaurant. *update crackle barrel asked me to contact them with more information (within the week). They apologized and gave me a free dessert for one. Don't think it's worth going through this again to redeem but wanted to acknowledge the response.

After a four day July 4th Holiday weekend camping trip, we indulged ourselves with a fancy breakfast/lunch at Cracker Barrel, Old Country Store. The decor is always so cute and I love the seasonal items for those who love Halloween year round. Their veteran items always makes me proud to see, not a lot of companies will make space for our beloved military within the displays. After a 20-25 minute wait, we were taken to our table. Our server, Alexandra was superb! Got our drink order and kept the refills coming. Alexandra was professional, friendly and polite. Our family had the Old Country Boy breakfast platter with biscuits and gravy, chicken tenders and Mac cheese, and pancakes. The entire meal was delicious and we look forward to coming back again. Thanks!
