Visited around 7:45 am in Saturday in June and just made it in before the crowds of people who followed. I think there were 24 choices of donut flavors to choose from. Mist notable by look was the strawberry shortcake, the peanut butter candy, and the fruit loops loopy donut. I stuck with the French toast which is my favorite flavor in other breakfast spots. We chose, they wrote our choices on the box. The staff was super friendly and let us try a few flavors while we waited...SCORE for customer service! The donuts were fried right in front of us and after they were cooked they placed them in the box, took them to the dip and shake line and prepared our donuts. After a short time, we were walking out of the store with hot donuts. The kids rate this place A+ . delicious and fun flavors. Parents give it an A+ for friendly service and waiting samples. A dozen cost us about $13 dollars and that was a win too. 9 people and enough for all. The donuts have an intense sweetness that for me was a little much but no one else seemed to agree with me. If your looking for a beach treat for the whole family, put this on your list. We were happy to try out this new small business and will visit again for that reason alone. The photo reflects the state of the donut box seconds upon arriving home. The sprinkle donuts...

Never open! They don't update their hours on Google. I drove all the way down here and a little temporary sign says closed today. Last year the same thing happened. I'll not be coming back to try again...

Update, this company is also terrible at their response to disgruntled customers.

Was it a family emergency last year when you closed to go on vacation without updating your Google hours? I don't follow you on social media, and silly me, seeing that you as a company updated your hours weeks ago on Google and assuming them to be right. But go ahead and keep on talking trash, it's a great look.

Went to Fractured Prune, they were delicious and shockingly, open during their posted hours. They also have many better locations to serve the many OCMD tourists who don't follow local social media. So if your looking to drive 15 min outside of town to MAYBE get what is most likely a sub par donut (judging by their lack of customer care), then this is the place for you! But if you want get fresh donuts that will be there when you get there, then save yourself the time and aggravation and go to...

Our family has been vacationing in Ocean Pines for a few years, yet every year we forget to stop by The Hungry Donut, until this year. For best results, be sure to get there early after they open. Donuts are made to order which is pretty neat, however this may add to the issue we saw with one flavor, the Cotton Candy, as most of the topping ended up on the bottom of the box (see photo). You can create your own donut flavor or choose from some interesting flavor combinations, which we did the latter and they turned out well, but for a smaller business we didn’t quite see that pop out feature on the donuts. Pricing seems average and there is a good atmosphere within the shop. Perhaps we may try again after another...

We went twice over the past week on vacation. We are still thinking about all those amazing, fresh, made to order donuts. The choices are endless. You can make your own from a large choice of toppings or order off the menu. A warm frosted donut topped with your favorite childhood cereal? They’re like mini birthday cakes!! Super friendly staff, awesome food and quick service. When you’ve had your fill of donuts (if there is such a concept) switch over to an Açaí bowl, cause they have those too. Can’t wait to go back!
