The Treat — Restaurant in Maryland

We ordered there twice. The first time the food was great. The 2nd time we had out if state company and decided to order. We waiting an hour an a half for our food. Then half way through eating we noticed the grilled chicken salad's chicken was RAW in the center. My sister in law- who was sharing her chicken club with my 1 year old niece, bit into her club and had raw chicken. We called AND SAVED THE CHICKEN. The manager said he would have the owner call us back. A day later she did just that. She was very apologetic and told us she would be noting our account for the same items free. She did ask us if we wantes the credit on our card again but because of her wonderful service we said we would give then another chance. Fast forward 3 weeks we call to place an order. A man picks up. We order 3 kids meals and my husband said you can add the chicken salad and club to the order there should be a note on file. The man asked what was wrong with it. My husband told him and he started laughing. Then he asked my husband what was wrong with the salad again my husband said the same thing, it was raw. That he talked to the female owner. The man proceeded to tell us hes the only owner. The female that called us said it was her and her husband that owned the business. He said no he owns it she comes in occasionally. My husband asked if he was ok since he was laughing at him. The man said yea everything was ok he just didnt know why his employees give out free food. (w tossed the chicken after we spoke to the manager or i would have taken that down there or better yet filed a complaint with the food inspectors-which i might still do) My husband told the man to cancel the order since it was such a big deal and we were getting laughed at. The man again laughed and said no problem! And hung up. If you order from here MAKE SURE ALL OF YOUR CHICKEN IS COOKED! Especially if feeding...

This place is FIRE! 🔥🔥🔥 Ordered from here twice, got different items each time and everything has been SOOOO good! Even their burgers! (a lot of the time burgers from restaurants that aren't burger specific are wack. They're just menu filler items) Bacon cheeseburger was REALLY good. I would actually come here JUST for the burgers. The "hot" they put on the cheesesteak isn't for me. But every other aspect of the cheesesteak is BOMB (quantity and quality of meat, bread, how it's prepared, size, etc). I was eating it like "yeah, I don't really care for whatever this hot is but MANNN this is still REALLY good!" haha! Kind of weird but it speaks to how good this place is. Do yourself a favor and have the appetizer rolls. Pepperoni Sausage and the Buffalo chicken, are both FIRE. I don't know how long this place has been here. I just recently saw it pop up on my door dash but this is our new go-to...

Usually my husband and I really enjoy ordering from The Treat. The menu is ok,. It it's a nice easy dinner or last minute lunch. However, when we ordered food today around 3:00 with a 3:30 estates delivery time, we didn't get our food until 4:45. I called twice, once at the 50 minute mark and once at the hour mark. The first call I was told the driver had just left and would be there in 5 minutes. The second time I called was because the delivery was marked as "delivered" but there was no food at my doorstep. That time I was told the driver was 2 minutes away (it was still another 10 minutes before I got my food). When we did eventually get our food the bag was ripped, the bread was burnt, and the food was leaking all over the place. When I called there was no apology, no cmunicatiom about the late delivery, and no offer of a discount or refund. We will not be ordering from the Treat again....
