Woody's Pub Grub — Restaurant in Maryland

My husband and I frequent Woodys at least once a week and have been for the last six months and have never had an issue. Last night as usual I placed our carry out order (single crab cake platters) immediately upon getting home and opening the food container I knew the color of the crab cakes was off and looked liked Geresbekes Store cakes (🤢) I just figured maybe they were cooked a little longer but after tasting them I knew that my suspicions were correct it was nothing but filler and those crab cakes were definitely from Geresbecks. I was so beyond shocked that I was charged $50.14 for a $6.00 heat and serve crab cake from Geresbekes. I contacted Woodys and the lady who initially took my order answered the phone I explained my frustrations and she said that she would pass the information along to the cook and manager. She was beyond nice and truly seemed sincere when apologizing. I have still not received a phone call from the manager so unfortunately I will not be ordering from this...

Update: *Tried a 3rd time because my husband really likes the food. Same experience - ignored even when being looked dead in the eye. The food is good, so we'll be back I'm sure. I so want to give them 5 stars. *This was the 2nd time we tried to eat at this Pub. The first time was so disappointing because we were ignored even after being looked dead in the eyes. We decided to leave. The other day we wanted to try again because they really were not many options in the area. The place was practically empty so we were able to find a seat and the waitress was nice. I had the Chesapeake quesadilla and it was pretty good. My husband had the Chesapeake burger and he said it was delicious. We will probably come back again but only doing off peak times. Place is on the small side so during busy hours, good luck getting a seat. I saw someone else order the tenders and they were huge and looked pretty good. Perhaps we'll try those next time. We have been here many times. Food is always good! The only thing I have tried I didn't like was the peach bread pudding. I was really excited for that, it was peach season.. bread pudding is one of my favs.. and I make an awesome bread pudding. So, I guess my standards were a bit high.. when I got this.. it was gray, and didn't look appealing. I stilled tried it just to taste it. The peaches were still hard, the bread pudding itself was mushy, and had no flavor. Won't ever order that again! But I can honestly say we've had alot of other things that ARE great! The wings are good. The Ribs are good, the steak is good. Chicken fingers are good. Sour beef and dumplings were good, but the dumplings are potato dumplings and I like the dough dumplings. I just think potato dumplings tend to be dry. The chocolate molten cake was delicious! The place is always packed every time we go... that tells ya...
