Only rating one star since I cannot rate a 0. I drove 30+ minutes to try this pizza shop. I ordered a pizza with extra sauce and wings and salad to go. I ate a slice of my pizza and didn't taste any extra sauce, I lifted cheese off the pizza in the middle and there was hardly any sauce. I called and asked for s manager explained to the manager I did try a slice and seen there wasn't hardlky any sauce whatsoever. The manager said one moment let me give the phone to the person who made the pizza (confused on why the manager gives the phone to an employee instead) re explained to the employee and she said i did put extra sauce on your pizza. I told her I have no problem bringing the food back to show her, she then proceeded to say I'll put a new one in but I know there was extra sauce on there, and hung up. I then decided I was taking back my entire order due to the customer service i was receiving on the phone. After arriving back to the buckeye pizza shop I asked for a manager and the bartender gave my husband and I a dirty look and for the manager, she(the manager) had grabbed the pizza that they remade and I explained to her that I would like a refund for my order. I showed her the pizza I received and she said the sauce absorbs into the crust that's why it doesn't look like there's much on there. I replied with okay. And received my refund and decided to take my family to Bennys for the best pizza in town with their smoked wings. I've never heard that the sauce absorbs into the crust. I've worked in a pizza shop myself and never witnessed the sauce absorbs into the crust nor ordered a pizza with extra sauce and the sauce disappear due to absorbing in the crust. Read moreBFP was our favorite pizza place. Pizza is always good but carry out service has become ridiculous. Tonight we called in our regular order and we’re told 40 minutes our order would be ready. Knowing it was Friday night & assuming they’d be really busy I waited 55 minutes before going to pick it up. When I got there several people were waiting. The clerk told me our pizza had just going in the oven. It would be another 15 minutes. Not much I could do but wait. 20 minutes later the clerk tells me he’s just waiting for one of my pizzas to come out. The other pizza was already done. It was done when I arrived. I asked if I was to expect one hot pizza & one cold pizza. The clerk said “oh no the cabinet is keeping your first pizza hot.”10 minutes later the clerk tells me my second pizza was just going in the oven & it would be done in about 15 more minutes. Needless to say by this time I was thoroughly disgusted. About 15 minutes later I got my two pizzas. One sizzling hot & one warm. I called in our order at 4:54 p.m. & I walked out with my two pizzas at 6:36 p.m. (1hour & 42 minutes later). This is the 2nd time this has happened to us this year. The sign at BFP says something like “Please be patient & courteous to our staff as we are experiencing manpower shortages.” I think that’s reasonable but be courteous enough as the vendor to give people reasonable pickup times when they call & be honest about the wait when there is a problem & delay. I visited this establishment today 3/28/25 and I will say . I’ve never had this issue ,It was extremely hot inside and they refused to turn on the air . Here’s why the staff refused. They said that they had to text the owner to see if they could turn the air on , since it’s locked out to the staff That’s ridiculous The ownership is more worried about spending money than taking care of his customers . They said that they did open up some of the doors however i don’t make any difference, and there were several other customers that were also saying something or showing that were uncomfortable. After sitting down we were greeted by getting a drink order however the girl that grab are drinks never returned to get are order . It took the girl running the dining room coming over and asking if we had placed are order like 20mins later and we said no she didn’t get are order she apologized and that’s when I asked about the air conditioner. She informed us of what I stated above . After receiving our food which took like forever( 45mins ) the pizza was extremely greasy which I’ve noticed to be worse the last few times I’ve picked up pizza . Needless to say very disappointed and will never return not with having multiple choices for pizza in a 30min radius of Marysville that treats there customers better and food quality is better let alone how the staff is treated . which is shocking cause I’ve always had great experience there .
