Nick and his team at Jet’s Pizza in Marysville are awesome!
Late this past Saturday night, we called Jet’s Pizza in Marysville and spoke with Nick to place a large order for pick up for the very the next day. Nick was very helpful, made recommendations and answered all my questions. We needed to feed lunch to about 40 people for a family get-together the very next day in Marysville and we were hoping to get some great-tasting pizza and wings. It was a fairly big order of about 10 large pizzas with different toppings and 100 chicken wings. The challenge was that we called very late on a Saturday night and needed to be able to pick up the pizza and wings the very next day on a Sunday, at a time close to when Jet’s Pizza opens, so we could be sure to feed our guests during lunchtime. Because I’ve worked many different restaurants myself, I was a bit concerned that there wouldn’t be enough time to get everything ready by lunchtime (especially 100 wings, which take longer to cook), but Nick assured us everything would work out fine.
What was very impressive was that Nick was scheduled off that Sunday, but he came in early to make sure the dough was prepped and pizzas and wings were all ready for us by the time we needed to pick up at lunchtime on Sunday. He and his staff went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect and this was very much noticed and sincerely appreciated. And the pizza and wings? They were incredible! All of our guests raved about how delicious the food tasted. The pizzas were all cooked perfectly, sauce was great, cheese nicely melted, all the different toppings were correct and the chicken wings were crispy and very delicious.
Look, pizza places are a dime a dozen, competition is fierce and everyone knows that. But to find quality pizza and wings at a great price can more challenging. Even more rare is to find a place that will take a last minute, large order the night before an early pickup AND the manager comes in to work on his day off to make sure everything goes smoothly and expectations are met/exceeded. I can tell you…customer service like that is very hard to find in food service today.
Bottom line, if you want awesome pizza & wings and great customer service in the Marysville area, this is definitely the place to go. Thank you Nick and Jet’s Pizza...
Read moreI never had a bad experience with jets at this location (marysville, MI) till about a month ago, and yesterday took the cake and I will never order there again. I use to loved jets but yesterdays experience and customer service was terrible. My mother was having her birthday at her house and she loves the BLT pizza which is her favorite. So we had guest over at the house and besides the blt pizza, we ordered a xtra large pepperoni pizza that came out to 42 dollars. When we picked up the pizza and brought it home we noticed the blt pizza had no lettuce at all on there. Being that the pizza was already expensive I called and told them what happened. The manager got on the phone and said ok what do you want to do about it? And I said well I’d like you guys to fix the pizza at least. He said no problem we’ll fix it and deliver a new one. I thought wow ok that’s really awesome! When he arrived he gave me a bag and left, I opened the bag, and it was seriously a bag of lettuce he handed me and left. Now I work with customers and that was def not the way to handle that situation. I was willing to even bring the pizza so they could at least see and make a new one. For him to think that was ok to do was terrible. I had my whole family there that live in the area and after that they all won’t be ordering from...
Read moreOverall I was very happy with my pizza from Jets. I live out of town and I do not have a Jets Pizza in Missouri so I look forward to it when I’m back in Michigan. With all of the changes, I’m marking down for the confusion with the pick up as well as the price. I’ll start with the pricing....for one pizza with three toppings & extra cheese plus pepperoni bread; the cost was over $30. I like the pizza but if I lived near a location, I definitely would not get pizza there often. The pick up was a little confusing too. There is a sign that says “pick up inside” but you can only get in the first door. They actually hand you your pizza through a window, which is fine, but I was standing there for a good few minutes before anyone even acknowledged me and then she just help up a finger indicating “just a minute”. I was fine with that but felt someone even seeing me and acknowledging me took way too long, especially when there was no signage stating to wait there. Just a...
