This marks my second attempt at leaving a review, and regrettably, it will likely be my last. Despite offering the benefit of the doubt on prior occasions, today's experience has solidified my decision to never return.
Upon placing my order for an iced caramel macchiato with cold foam via the drive-thru, the order was repeated back to me and I confirm that was it.. However, upon reaching the window, I was handed a large hot coffee instead. When I politely clarified the mistake, the attendant's response was far from professional. Not only did she exhibit clear frustration, but her subsequent actions were both disrespectful and unprofessional.
Without seeking clarification or offering an apology, she threw the coffee away and yelled at her coworkers by saying "WHO TOOK THIS ORDER." Unfortunately, the cycle repeated as my specified beverage was once again prepared incorrectly. She came back to the window with an Iced Coffee. I told her my order again and she pulled away and yelled "Jesus Christ." No apologies, just pure disrespect and professionalism.
The "supervisor," "Sarah H" arrived at the window with an iced caramel macchiato, although missing the cold foam, an additional charge I had opted for. Politely, I acknowledged the gesture with a smile, but also reiterated my initial request for the cold foam.
Sarah H, the supervisor, returned promptly with the cold foam added to the drink. My mom was in the passenger seat and asked for a manager. Sarah informed us that there is no manager at their store. She proceeded to apologize for her coworker's disrespectful behavior, although she incorrectly asserted that I had been laughing at her, which was not the case at all. She tried justifying the situation by stating that I paid for a regular coffee and not the price of the iced caramel macchiato with cold foam. I would have preferred to pay the correct price and receive the service I deserved rather than endure such blatant disrespect. The entire experience left me feeling deeply uncomfortable as a customer.
Following this disappointing experience, I took the necessary steps to file a formal complaint. However, it's disheartening to report that despite my efforts, no discernible action has been taken to address the underlying issues. It is my sincere hope that the owners, Elijah OR George of this location, will take a proactive stance in investigating and rectifying the deficiencies in their establishment's customer service. Only through a genuine commitment to improvement can they hope to restore trust and loyalty among their patrons.
Honestly, take your business somewhere else. The way I felt there leaving today, is not a way anyone...
Read moreThe brown haired female manager refused to make our order right 10/31/24 and when we asked her to correct the order and make it right, she threatened to call the police! Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with any business in my entire life and I'm in my 60s. I've never been in trouble with the law, I just wanted my breakfast sandwich remade with the egg they had left off. An absolute monster was the manager over breakfast this morning and the red haired lady who took my sandwich and threw it away without replacing it with one with an egg. The sandwich was made wrong and they would not give me a replacement. All this for a missing lousy egg.
Update: I filled out the form: Our BELT breakfast sandwich at the Marysville, Michigan location (1551 Gratiot Blvd, Marysville, Michigan 48040) was made incorrectly today. It was made without the egg. There were around 20 people in the drive thru lane. We went and waited in the long drive thru lane, again, to get the sandwich corrected. Every other restaurant would have given a free sandwich for the inconvenience, but first the red haired girl asked for the sandwich back, took the sandwich and then threw it out. Then the brown haired manager said because we had eaten some of the sandwich (that they had thrown away,) that we would not get a new sandwich at all! I said several times that I wanted her to make it right and give me the correct sandwich or a refund and she threatened to call the police so I drove away immediately. I'm in my 60s and have never been in trouble with the law. I just wanted my sandwich made right or a refund and the manager refused to give either. Then she threatened to call the police! This is by far the worst experience I've ever had with a business in my entire life. All because the manager and the red haired employee refused to provide any semblance of customer service. And all over a 25 cent egg that they left off the sandwich that we had ordered. I can't even begin to tell you how upsetting for a person in their 60s or anyone to be treated this way over a lousy missing egg. I'll never be back to this restaurant. I can't imagine a ruder, more horrible way that they could have treated a senior citizen this morning. No one deserves to be...
Read moreI'm not sure if the owner needs to reconsider who they have as their general manager or if the Gm needs to consider who they have as managers! I have been here 4 times total including tonight! I always get the Same thing XL 3×3 with a shot of hazelnut and if my daughter is with me she gets a small hot chocolate. Well the two times I have bought my coffee here there hasn't been any sugar in them and the last hot chocolate tasted like dirt. I try to tell them in the drive thru and its always been young kids. The response i was given a laugh to my face and was told sorry and a window shut in my face. Well last night on the way home from work I wanted soup so I thought I'd give this location one more try. I ordered the chicken noodle and a Tuscan chicken sandwich. My soup was luke warm and my sandwich hand no grill marks and the cheese wasn't even melted! So I called I was told the grill doesnt work properly and then the soup was a different story until the guy I guess put his hand in it. Then believed me! So he writes me down for a replacement meal. I go there to get it tonight as I wait for 10 mins the soup and sandwich. I see 3 employees just standing around talking not doing a thing. I ask the girl in drive thru for a 10 pack of Tim bits while I'm waiting and she tells me they are out of everything but chocolate and plain. That was the end of that. Why are you paying these employees if they cant do their jobs? How can you advertise things and not have them? The young boy that's working on the table and handing out food with his gloves on is very unpleasant and just a smart ass! I will not go back here and I will be finding out who owns this Tim hortons and will be...
