Normally I do not do reviews. Honestly I love Marysville Teriyaki, but today I am quiet upset and I just feel sometimes you have to leave a comment when you feel things should have been dealt with differently so in the future maybe they will be. It started off I was upset because a customer, who had even asked me upon his arrival if I was next which I was second in line at the time, decided to cut in front of me. I was very upset, I did not say anything though as it was not the restaurants fault they were quiet busy and she did not know the order of the line. When I received my order I asked repeatedly "the sushi is in there" my concern was based on the fact that I ordered a meals worth of smoked salmon sushi in a roll form. But there were only 3 meal boxes and I know the 2 orders of egg rolls (4 egg rolls in total) will not fit in the box with the fried pot sticker things. The 3rd box was the chicken teryaki. I decided to check in my car just because I was not believing my sushi is in there, but what it was is I got a little rice with 2 slices of smoked salmon on top, not the rolls I wanted. I was very mad, clearly so at this point, but I said ok can I get a order of the sushi I would like. She took the salad box turned that into a roll of sushi and tells me here you go. Mind you I had my wallet out fully ready to pay for the extra order I wanted (a full dinner for 1 person, not a side). At this point I am livid, but I walk out because clearly I was dismissed and not welcome to get what I wanted to order. Mind you I did not curse, I didn't yell, I was angry yes and clearly so in my tone. Sadly my family will no longer order food from here again, confrontation gives me high anxiety and this was upsetting on so many levels I arrived home in tears and visibly shaking because I was so upset over this...
Read moreProbably the worst experience I've had at a sushi restaurant. Food itself was alright but the way it proceeded was awkward and uncomfortable. We walked in and nobody rregarded us for a while. When we walked up to the counter, we were told to have a seat at any of their tables, so we sat. The waitress then came over and told us that we should order at the counter. So we got back up and ordered at the counter. I asked for the Aki plate which is 20 pieces of nigiri and I asked if I chose the nigiri or the chef. The waitress told me the chef would choose but I could tell her what we liked. So I explained that we liked salmon and tuna and asked that we not receive any octopus. She said the chef might charge more for extra salmon and tuna, and I told her we didn't need extra, I was just teling her what we liked, as she had suggested. Eventually she brought the plate, put it on the table, and then told me that it would cost five more dollars for the order. So I pulled 20 out of my wallet and she came back with my change. On the plate, we realized, was four pieces of octopus. I explained that what I had asked for was no octopus. She said they would replace it and when they did it was cooked shrimp nigiri, which is basically not nigiri at all. It seemed like retribution. The waitress was nice and obviously made uncomfortable by the request the chef was making of her but that doesn't really make up for the fact that the entire thing felt like a particularly uncomfortable episode of Curb...
Read moreI do ridesharing for food and this has been the worst I’ve been treated! I went in today to pick up a food order and she gave me a nice welcome asked order name but I had also received another order that Uber let me accept while waiting for the other order. Lady asked me to cancel the other order because the other meal would go bad. I called support and they told me I should wait because I have the order on my phone and she can’t tell me to cancel it because I’m technically my own worker. So when I went back in the lady begins yelling at me telling me why I didn’t leave yet I politely told her the issue and I gave her my phone because she wanted to speak to them she begins yelling and screaming to the support lady she’s literally sweating from anger even I got a little scared lol but anyway that’s the issue I had here the food looks good I haven’t tried it but based on environment and service I received it was bad she treats ridesharing people like there gonna steal the food another delivery driver came in while I was waiting she told him cancel the order it’s gonna be 10 minutes.
