Indulging in this delightful culinary experience is a journey that transcends mere sustenance, weaving together the threads of taste, hospitality, and ambiance. Our recent visit to this establishment was nothing short of a gastronomic delight, leaving an indelible mark on our senses.

The delectable offerings on the menu transformed our meal into a symphony of flavors that danced on our palates. Each dish, meticulously crafted and bursting with culinary expertise, spoke volumes about the commitment to quality and the artistry of the culinary team. From the first bite to the last, the food here proved to be a gastronomic revelation, a testament to the mastery of the chefs in the kitchen.

However, a truly memorable dining experience is not only about what graces the plate but also about the overall atmosphere and the human connection that enriches it. Our server, a beacon of warmth and friendliness, elevated our dining experience. Their attentive service and genuine enthusiasm added a personal touch, turning a simple meal into a shared moment of joy.

Moreover, the seating arrangements played a crucial role in shaping our comfort and overall satisfaction. The plush seats, strategically placed for optimal enjoyment, provided a cozy haven where we could savor our culinary journey. The attention to detail in designing a space that marries aesthetics with comfort did not go unnoticed, contributing significantly to the overall ambiance.

In conclusion, our visit to this establishment was a trifecta of culinary excellence, exemplary service, and a comfortable setting. The fusion of delicious flavors, friendly hospitality, and comfortable seating created a harmonious experience that lingered in our memories. It is a testament to the establishment's commitment to creating not just a meal but a truly immersive and unforgettable...

Our normal place was closed so we decided to give this place a try. I honestly wish I hadn't. We got it for takeout and I will say they set a good expectation for when it would be done (30 minutes). When I arrived I found the entry way extremely cramped that can really only fit 3 people. The person working the front was very distracted by all the people in the lobby and obviously overwhelmed by all the orders coming in. One of the younger workers was friendly and let everyone know food was being cooked. The place looked okay on the inside otherwise and was fairly busy inside as well. Food smelled great on the way home but we were very disappointed opening it up. The sweet and sour chicken was like nothing we had seen and was overcooked making the chicken dry and the outer shell almost burned in some places. The chow mein is almost completely colorless and flavorless with an excess of sauce that was very oily. Combo fried rice was okay but the bean sprouts threw the texture off. It was like they were added as an after thought and not cooked with the rice. Lastly, the egg flower soup had what I can only assume are water chestnuts which added an undesirable crunch to the soup. Chinese food is one of our family favorites and is especially good the following day but I can say with confidence that the left overs will not be saved and we will not...

I recently ordered dinner for my family, online. We were craving Chinese food so we thought we'd try out Maxi's restaurant. We ordered sweet & sour chicken with sauce on the side, Mongolian beef (medium spice), Maxi's fried rice, and soft noodle chow mein.

We were disappointed as soon as I opened the containers. The chicken was nothing like the pictures from past reviews...it was breaded, fried then sliced and I'm not even sure what cut it was, maybe thigh? It was very odd texture and most of it was not edible. The Mongolian beef was a fair cut of meat and cooked well, but there was no spice. The chow mein was pretty good. The Maxi's fried rice was another disappointment, but for that I partially blame myself. There was not a description of what was in maxi's fried rice but it included multiple types of meat.....shrimp was one of them...I do not like shrimp at all. I should've called the restaurant to get a description before ordering but went with it, expecting something totally different. I typically wouldnt leave a bad review for a restaurant but after spending over $100 for our meal and being so disappointed, I had to share my experience. I may give maxi's restaurant another try but I would be more particular...

My Dad followed Steve (original owner) to Marysville - I’ve been eating his and his daughter Frances (owner) food Since I was born. Every time I introduce someone to Maxis they freak out because it’s so good and fun! I haven’t lived in Marysville for 20 years but every time I get near I go to Maxis. It’s the closest thing to Cheers you’ll get in the bar and you feel like family when you’re there. The crispy szechuan Chicken is a family fave! It’s so nice to be able to have non pretentious, affordable place that doesn’t follow fads. I love Maxi’s and so will you. If you don’t that’s fine. None of us want people who don’t “get it” there anyway. It’s old Snohomish County. Before the wild growth and it makes me happy.

I made a phone order and came and picked it up. When I got home to my surprise, my general tsu chicken was less than edible. It was swimming in sauce and the chicken breading was like jelly. When I called the restaurant, the manager told me that she could not refund the chicken off my order. My mother went earlier that day and said that the new management that they are under, seem to not encourage good manners in there employees and lacking extreme time management. I have been going to this place for 10 years on Mother’s Day and have never been so disappointed and frankly disgusted by the food and the employees. Do better.
