This place makes me think of panda express, so that is the comparison I've decided to make. We got orange chicken and hibachi vegetables. This ended up being two meals for two people, as the portions are significantly larger than panda's. I compared prices on the same day, as one might have noticed that the increase in the money supply has caused a rapid increase in cost of nearly everything (inflation). It is more expensive, but for the amount of food, this seems a slightly better deal. The vegetables were plain, but cooked properly and it was a nice dish. The carrots were a particular favorite. The orange chicken had a nice orange flavor and wasn't so super cloyingly sweet as panda's. The rice was properly cooked and good. The sauce they have is similar to, but not as flavorful as an aji amarillo sauce I've had from lima chicken, a Peruvian chicken place in Maryland. And it was fast and everyone there was friendly and helpful. I would go here rather than the panda.

We were very excited to try Asia Cafe’ Xpress. We were very warmly and enthusiastically greeted when we arrived, the gentleman appeared to be a manager or possibly owner of this location. His hospitality and service was great. We ordered a shrimp meal and a steak and shrimp xpress combo. Both meals were over $10 even during lunch, as there was not a lunch portion on the menu. Both meals came out really fast and the portions were very generous. The food’s flavor is the real draw back here. There was very little flavor in the fried rice and the steak and the vegetables were very well done. The meat was chewy and the zucchini and onions were mush. We were encouraged to use the shrimp sauce; it was so sweet. Not the typical yum yum stuff you get at other hibachi restaurants. For me it was like pouring syrup on the food. We did have shrimp with our meal and that is what I would probably recommend if you came here. It was very plump and cooked nicely.

Really I didn’t want to give it even one star, but it was a clean restaurant & the service was good…however, the food was not good! I absolutely love Asian cuisine & I loved the fact that this one is about 3 minutes driving distance from my home in Alcoa. I ordered shrimp fried rice & the shrimp was way, way, overcooked so I couldn’t eat it. I tried eating just the rice & veggies & it was very bland, so I didn’t finish it. I also ordered the donuts, I love the donuts…you get a bag of 10. I got 9 & that’s because they were so overloaded with sugar!! I’d rather drive the distance & know I’ll get a great meal!! I definitely will not go back to this one!!! (The egg drop soup was very good) Also overpriced … one meal … 24.00 … Really? (This was the new restaurant in Alcoa)

Stopped by here and went to the drive through: the cashier was nice the menu was expansive, but has two different prices...cash vs card, which I'm pretty sure it's illegal, at least in Florida it is Gave my order; 2 apps, 2 dinners and it was $50! Here's the bad part...it's a fast food restaurant...I waited over 20 minutes at the pick up window for my order and there were three cars behind me, one ended up leaving. All I got was, "Sorry, we're slammed" once I recieved my order and asked if everything was in there to which I was assured it was. Once I arrived home, I had to cut the bag it was knotted so tight. I noticed right away I didn't get everything, hence the bag being inaccessible when I was there The food was lukewarm and very bland... didn't even finish it. Beef and broccoli and Pad Thai. The apps were ok, but really pissed I didn't get everything I ordered even though I paid for it.

I would not recommend this place and will definitely...

My boyfriend and I ordered the teriyaki chicken, sesame chicken, 2 California rolls & an order of crab Rangoon. We spent $48 during the lunchtime window, even ordering off of the lunch menu but were charged dinner prices (a 5 dollar PER entree difference) and this did not include drinks. Had to buy drinks after the fact for $5 for a small cup. When we asked why we weren’t charged lunch prices we were told we didn’t order off the lunch menu, but we did.. Whatever, we let it slide. If you’re looking to order sushi, I’d save yourself some money and go to Kroger. They have better sushi for similar prices and you get more per roll. The crab Rangoon wasn’t terrible, just not the best we’ve had for $8. Entrees were decent, my boyfriend really enjoyed the sesame chicken. Teriyaki chicken was pretty good also, and you get a good amount. If I were to come back, I’d only get entrees and I’d make CERTAIN they charge me the right price. Other than that, I won’t...
