Ex employee here. Wouldnt have made a review because i didnt care enough to or had any ill will towards anyone here until the managers wife disrespected me unprovoked under a comment section of a facebook article stating their health inspection had failed and she even stated in her comments that "if your going out to eat you should expect sweat and spit in your food" so now im pissed and going to spill all the tea. Blanched bacon is left out all day, no gloves are worn, multiple times the onions have grown mold and are just told to peel the top layer, pipes in the ceiling busted and the tiles are rotting away (even had tiles fall on a customers table once not to mention the possible mold growing from the pipes water absorbing in the ceiling tiles) above the stove water drips down on the stove and most of the line at times Along with those tiles being discolored and and having water seep into it an fall on the grill god only knows what kind of chemicals or mold could be cross contaminating in your food, i heard of an old employee being told to re-freeze thawed chicken, disrespectful family of waitresses that, had a waitress also serve spoiled milk then argue with the customer that it wasnt until he made her smell it. The list goes on. The only good thing i can say is if you are going to come ask for Darryl to cook your food he is the best cook and really only hope for this place and should have been made manager, and ask for Dubs as a waitress. They are the only thing that makes this place worthwhile. Other than that the manager is lazy like crazy. Refuses to work behind the grill or anything else other than sit on the computer, has a squad of assistant managers that do the same thing and then wonder why they fail a...
Read moreI just wanted to defend the server working to go tonight, she was very courteous and friendly with us, and there were only two servers working tonight so they were understandably swamped. They did right by us though, it really wasn't fair that the to go server was so busy with to go orders that she couldn't take any tables. On top of that, there was a door dash driver there when we got there who was very negative and irritable, and I noticed it right away, and at one point she went so far as to yell at the to go server across the restaurant, in front of customers, accusing the serving of calling her names, which I can assure you she did not do. She was simply relaying to the kitchen staff that the driver was complaining about her customers not being happy with their wait times because the restaurant was taking so long, but the driver thought she heard something else and decided to start yelling and cussing in front of people at a woman who was losing her tip money to try to help her out. I don't feel that the staff should have to work with drivers that treat them like this, and if the drivers can't be respectful then they shouldn't be the ones delivering food for that restaurant. I also feel that the situation was very unfortunate because of understaffing. Like I said, the servers were great with us, and I hope management reads this and appreciates the work those people put in and maybe will staff enough people to help with high volumes of to go orders in the future so that your valuable employees don't get stuck losing their tips all night while having to deal with disgruntled door...
Read moreThe only reason I'm giving this a two star rating is because the food was somewhat decent. I don't normally write reviews, but this place genuinely astonished me when it came to the wait staff and even kitchen staff. From the get go, being seated, we was immediately asked what we wanted to drink, which normally isn't that bad, but this hostess was visibly irritated at my children for not hurrying with figuring out what they wanted to drink because they were too focused on sitting down at our table rather than immediately knowing what they wanted to drink. She ran to the back to put orders in and then continued to sit people and work. Then our actual waitress came to stand and wait on us to figure out what we wanted to eat. She was standing at the table across from us with her notepad and pen out just waiting. Imagine how uncomfortable that is while you're trying to figure out three children's order plus your own. Finally gave her the order and moved on. I watched the kitchen erupt in an almost argument where what I assumed was management (bald man in regular clothes) stood there trying to calm his kitchen staff down. Overall a very awkward experience. I have been a waitress before in a place where we had very limited staff. You 100% do not have to act like that. There was a sign at the register that warned us of a hiring crisis so before we even sat down we was prepared for long wait times, etc. We was not prepared for blatant rudeness and drama while we ate seventy something dollars worth of food. Please retrain...
