I met 2 friends for lunch at the Corner Market today. We had a delightful lunch there. I had the loaded potato soup, which was very tasty. The only thing it lacked was a piece of French bread on the side to round things out. My friends had the Turkey club with a side of pea salad and the Trio scoop salad. The Trio scoop salad was a beautifully plated array of a scoop of tuna salad, kale salad and potato salad. (you get to pick what you want). Her plate was liberally sprinkled with fresh locally grown strawberries, blackberries and dried cranberries. The Turkey club was a substantial sandwich and half of it was boxed up for home. Several desert options were offered. I had a thick slice of banana nut bread with chocolate chips which was warmed up for me so the chocolate was melty and delicious. Service was quick and friendly. Prices reasonable. Table decor included fresh cut flowers, a sweet touch. Outside shaded patio available for al fresco dining....
Read moreIt was our first time here & We loved it. In the parking lot, before we even got inside, a guy leaving the market tells us, âTry the jalapeĂąo tarts! So good!â He wasnât wrong. Two of us devoured the entire tray in nothing flat.
April was our server and she was an absolute sweetheart. The last time we tried to eat here the parking lot and surrounding street areas were completely full so we jumped ship and went somewhere else. Next time this happens we will circle like vultures until we find parking because we loved everything about this little local gem. Hubby had the Reuben and it did not disappoint. I went for a âpick twoâ and had the potato salad & soup of the day which was tomato basil- both were delicious. The vibe inside was great- simple & clean. Canât wait to stop back in the next time we find ourselves...
Read moreI stopped at Maryville Corner Market for dinner with my fiance and had an amazing experience! We sat at the bar and had a couple appetizers (pimento pinwheels and cream cheese jalapeno bites) then for dinner we shared the Reuben sandwich and a trio salad. Both were incredible! The Reuben especially shined (unsurprisingly since the reviews we read all raved about it). The owners Lisa and David were wonderful to talk with, Lisa waited on us and prepared the food and David told us stories about the history of the market and Maryville. It was the perfect stop to rejuvenate ourselves after an afternoon hiking in Cades' Cove. Great service, cool vibes and clean space, delicious food - 100% will be going...
