My mother (a senior citizen) has been a regular customer since this establishment opened. She placed a delivery order in May and paid with a credit card. She gave the young man a cash tip and expected to sign her credit card slip as she always does. The young man assured her though she did not need to sign anything.
My mother thought this was a bit odd, but reassured herself it was a new policy to expedite business during a busy summer season.
However, before the end of his shift, this emoloyee FORGED a tip and FORGED my mom's signature to the credit card slip. If it wasn't for her constant monitoring of her bank accounts she would have never noticed.
She contacted the owner who promised to address it. He also told my mother this young man was "a good kid" and would be graduating from MHS in a few weeks. He then offered to credit her account ... in the amount of the forged tip.
That's fantastic customer service, Mr. Pizza Guy. (Slow ... Clap)
A week or so later, she followed up. The owner stated he addressed it with the employee, but he had not and would not be terminated.
To say this is infuriating is a gross understatement. It is absolutely disgusting to think a local small business allows their employees to prey on the elderly without any fear of repercussions.
My mother only recently brought this to my attention otherwise I would have addressed it back in May. I've encouraged her to contact local authorities otherwise I will.
How many other times has this happened? Is this a regular practice? Does the owner know this is happening? Exclusively to senior citizens, or does this young man not discriminate in his identity theft, credit card fraud and illegal activities?
If YOU owned a business and you knew an employee was stealing from your customers, why would you not fire them?
To the owner: how would you feel if you're mother was taken advantage of? Would your reaction been different if this employee had stolen cash directly from you register?
My mother only hoped for a phone call from the young man apologizing. That never happened.
Think twice before doing business with this establishment. They have at least one thief working among them. Unexplainably the owner is aware of this, knows exactly who it is and yet continues to employee...
Read moreCame from a local neighborhood. Pulled out slow from a parking lot at the local pond that had a minor hill that limited sight. A Pizza Guyz delivery car was miffed that I had pulled out while he was speeding, and proceeded to aggressively tailgate myself while I was on my way to pick up food from the same store he worked at! I asked who the driver was, and confronted two workers up front to ask why a business vehicle has the nerve to drive like that. My complaint was met with zero acknowledgement from staff, until I voiced my very justified opinion, and a string bean from behind the counter was unable to keep his professionalism, to the point his manger, who seemed to be his mother had to keep him from escalating the issue outside. After this I was given the wrong order, I wonder if in jest given the child like actions portrayed by the staff. I love their food and have been going there for nearly 10 years, but their absolute lack of accountability and disrespect for their customer today will keep me from ever,...
Read moreHas new owners and new staff. The food that comes out of here now is more of a miss then it use to be, but all that changed was the prices, the new owners came in and raised prices across the board. You can spend a 1-2 dollars more at Wildfire pizza, The Lanes or Moto pizza and get a way better experience of the pizza then this place. To pay premium prices for seemingly a cheaper end style pizza is crazy I feel. Wraps and sandwiches are not filled like they use to be, smaller portions and food overdone, its not like they really care about quality, they just want to send out the food as much as they can. And 8 dollars for a french fry. yikes..... Sadly this place is not the same no more. Sadly not...
