I rarely write reviews but today is one of the few. Let me start by saying I’ve been to other locations and have never had a bad experience. Now prepare yourself for this book I'm writing. Anyway, my friend and I came to the Massillon location because she wanted me to see the inside. The place was very nice, to look at. Otherwise, my experience not so much. To start my friend asked if they had iced coffee or if they just did cold brew there because some places only serve cold brew so she wanted to clarify. When she asked the kid who was taking our order, he looked at her like she had four eyes and said “What do you mean?” She then had to explain to him what iced coffee was. After that, she asked what his favorite iced drink was because she wasn’t sure what she wanted and he looked to the side and stared for about a minute until he gave her an answer. Odd. Now for my order, I ordered simply an iced vanilla latte with oat milk and asked for three pumps of vanilla. When I got my drink it only tasted like a latte with oat milk so I kindly asked if they were able to add some more vanilla to it. The girl said she couldn’t because it was an up charge but she could offer me sugar. I told her I would pay for it even though, it didn’t taste like even a pump of vanilla was added in the first place. I even had my friend taste it to make sure because I like my coffee a bit sweeter than she does so maybe I was in the wrong but she said she didn’t taste any vanilla either. The girl told me she couldn’t only charge me for pumps of vanilla so basically I would’ve had to pay for a new drink when mine wasn’t made correctly in the first place. I’ve had this same drink at the North Canton Tremont and it tasted how it was supposed to. Not only have I worked in coffee and whether or not it was an extra up-charge for something or say the customer forgot to request a specific milk which is more of an up charge we would still do it in order to please the customer. Apparently they do not care about fixing a mistake. Again I would’ve been fine paying the charge but paying for an entire new drink seemed unfair. All this to say, if you have a drink that doesn’t taste right, be prepared to have to order an entirely new one. This entire experience was odd to say the least.

Update: Responding to Mark.
I don’t see how that even correlates to my review even in the slightest. I had no problem as y’all hired others. In fact I forgot I had applied there because I applied to several jobs at that time. BUT if that were the case that I write the review why would I continue to go to your coffee shops. As I also mentioned in my review if you noticed that I said the North Canton tremont does a much better job, and again I still continue to get coffee from your business, just not at this location. It’s interesting that out of everything I left in my review your thought was “because we didn’t hire you”…as to try and make an excuse for my review that I was only writing it out of animosity for not getting hired rather than possibly addressing the issue. I have worked at several coffee shops and if there was a negative review our boss would let us know and how to improve even if it was just an off day for us. Anyway, to answer your question that would be no, perhaps read the review...

No I did not ever say less. Please review your camera system because that is blatantly false. Furthermore, I should never have been talked to the way I was. Even if I made a mistake (I didn't), there is zero reason to respond the way she did. I will not accept being gaslighted and lied about. Like I said I even said I understood if there was a upcharge for MORE. I also was never asked if it being on the side was ok. She just did that and walked away. Obviously everyone has bad days but I don't deserve to be caught up in it when all I did was expect what I asked for. Why would I even say that if I wanted less? I lost even more respect for this company now.
I drove over an hour to try their Beetlejuice power up. I asked for the drink to have more foam than normal my exact words were "half the cup." I even said I understand it may be extra. When I got the drink, it had even less foam than advertised. I asked if it can be corrected and was told "Ok...I asked you if you wanted less and you said yes ( Not true). I'll fix it for you in a second." The staff member then gave me a second cup with some foam in it, still not the amount of asked for, instead of remaking the drink. The foam consistency makes it difficult to add to an already made drink. I am autistic and struggle with social skills so it took a lot out of me not to even say anything even though I drove all this was. I don't at all understand why I was met with that reaction when all I asked for was what I paid for. I used to frequent this place and praise them when I lived in Massillon. Now I will steer clear and advise others to...
Read moreTremont is easily my family's favorite local coffee stop. My family and I have been coming here for years. The service is always fast and friendly. Drinks are at great prices and there is a large variety of options. The Morning Moonshine and Nitro Caramel Macchiato are always good bets but their seasonal drinks are a must try. Highly recommend their breakfast sandwiches too, they're made fresh and are VERY delicious! I also just learned that one of their amazing Baristas bakes their GF muffins! We loved the strawberry pie muffin. The Massillon location is HUGE, offers plenty of seating with small and large tables - perfect for any party size. My husband and I love to work remotely from this location, sometimes with colleagues or friends thanks to the abundance of space. Tremont has free Wifi, public bathrooms with a baby changing station in the women's room. There's also a few arcade games and a shuffle board table in the back. They're starting to offer handmade giftables too; pillows, books, candles, mugs, jewelry, and more. They also have a great selection of fresh coffee beans and teas. Tremont is just an all-around great place to hangout, relax, drink good coffee, or buy gifts...
