Jilly Jelly Boba Tea and Snow — Restaurant in Matthews

When I walked into the Jilly Jelly there was a family of three waiting for their drinks. One of their drinks had to be remade because it spilled everywhere when the straw was inserted. There was only one bobarista working, Janice, who was doing a great job despite the rush. All the cups and spoons needed to make our drinks had to be washed, so Janice gave us an estimated wait time of 15 minutes for our four large drinks. We didn’t mind waiting as we understood the situation. Janice lets customers try their drinks before sealing them, which I think is a very good practice. We ordered a pineapple slush, which tasted amazing and reminded me of real sweet pineapples—definitely a 10/10. The mango slush was also very good and had an authentic taste. The passion fruit green tea was to die for; unlike other places where it's usually too sweet and tastes like you're drinking sugar water, here it was balanced deliciously. The brown sugar latte brought a sense of nostalgia, as it tasted just like Cinnamon Toast Crunch. We also had the chance to try a soon-to-be-released item: little egg-shaped waffles filled with a choice of mozzarella, American cheese, or chocolate-filled mochi. I recently visited this delightful bubble tea shop in Charlotte, NC, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience! The moment I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly staff and an expansive menu. The shop is cozy, clean and cute.

The star of the show was undoubtedly their Lychee Green Tea. It was a perfect blend of refreshing green tea infused with the sweetness of lychee. The freshness and quality of the tea was truly satisfying. It was an authentic bubble tea experience better than the bubble tea shops we have in NY.

The staff was amazing. They were not only knowledgeable about their menu but also incredibly patient in helping me choose the perfect option. Their attention to detail and dedication to customer satisfaction were truly commendable.

The ambiance of the shop was cozy and inviting, making it a great place to relax and enjoy my drink. The attention to cleanliness and hygiene also added to the overall positive impression.

This bubble tea shop exceeded all my expectations. It will undoubtedly be my go-to spot for bubble tea when in NC. I can't wait to visit again and explore more...
