Platform Coffee — Restaurant in Matthews

Nice coffee shop on Monroe. Great selection of coffee drinks including the classics (cappuccino, latte, cortado) as well as both normal and nitro cold brew. I hear they also have some “off menu” drinks that I didn’t get to try but sound awesome.

I ended up with the pour over which was excellent. Platform roasts their own beans locally and this was made with the Ethiopian beans which were really good.

Seating is expansive and comfortable, lots of space to stretch out and work.

I will definitely come back and buy some beans for my own use as well as try some of their...

So glad this coffee shop opened here. I’ve been going to a nearby shop for years but it has gotten so busy I can’t hear myself think in there. I tried this today and was served a delicious large mocha and warmed blueberry muffin by a wonderfully nice barista. Great space, super clean, peaceful atmosphere (even with 12 other people sitting drinking coffee). I’ll be making this my new coffee...

First review. First day. Good spacious coffee shop with options of soft and table seating. Fridge offering sparkling and regular (non-sparkling) water as well as soda options.
