Normally I don’t bother leaving reviews, but I can’t let it slide this time. I regret trusting Emmalee to create my wedding cake. They contributed to ruining my wedding day with an ugly cake in colors and flowers I did NOT ask for. Aqua blue is not green, and roses and Ranunculus flowers aren’t orchids, Lillies, or carnations which is what I received. I politely emailed them about their mistakes and how they upset us by not listening to what we asked for and instead of taking accountability, Emmalee tried to find loopholes to get out of giving me a full refund and gave me a petty attitude which was very emotionally immature of her. $75 refund is a slap in my face after we paid $350 for an ugly cake she didn’t make correctly. Please do not trust this person with your most precious day of your life, or you will likely regret it and end up having to have a vow renewal to make up for it. This persons character shows me they don’t actually care about making their clients happy, they’re greedy and all they cared about was keeping my money instead of being empathetic and taking responsibility for ruining my wedding cake. My wedding coordinator contracted Cake Fanatics to do our wedding cake for our June wedding a couple of weeks ago. We did do a cake tasting with them a year before and their cakes are delish! Our 3 tier cake was a Coconut and Guava cakes with Marshmallow Fondant! AMAZING! And our wedding cake still tasted AWESOME on our wedding day! The reason for the 4 star only is that we order a 3 Tier "SQUARE" cake but what they delivered was a "ROUND" 3 Tier cake...which was a bit disappointing (2 hours LATE by the way, from Lahaina to Kihei). Not sure who's at fault....my coordinator (Sandra) for not following thru, or Cake Fanatics for not reading the order invoice correctly? Oh well this constitutes this minus ONE STAR. HOWEVER, their Cakes are INCREDIBLE...worth...
