Do not go! I think all of their budget has recently been spent on advertising and none for upkeep. We were really excited to go do the tour, the zipline, and the aquaball. When we arrived we were told that it might be too windy to do anyting which was okay except that it didn't really appear to be windy at all. So we took their advice and canceled ziplining with the intent to aquaball and the tour. We started with the tour which was led by a young man who literally knew nothing about anything at all. He was happy to tell us about his experiences in Montana and California, and traveling, but couldn't really tell us anything about the dragon fruit farm at all except about how the dragon fruit was pollinated. Even the simplest questions were Beyond his ability to answer. Moreover when we were settled in the shade to talk for a few minutes, he stepped aside to smoke weed. Later he told us that he was really happy for company because he had been dealing with a lot of demons in his head. This did not Inspire confidence. We looked at the zip line and I'm glad we canceled because it was a single line and a short distance between the two towers. All of the advertisements showed a really cool aquaball course with green carpeting or AstroTurf, what we saw that day was Burwood and our guides inability to tell us how we would stop at the end. On top of that he kept going off about how it wasted water, how they were in a drought, and how when official people would show up they were told to not talk to anybody and to go the other way. Seems very sketchy. Because we canceled be aquaball and ziplining on their advice, the tour was $25 a piece this was for a maybe 20 minute tour, that was mostly our guide stuttering and saying that's a good question I don't know the answer, while other workers clearly did their best to avoid us. We are promised a tasting of a bunch of fruit at the end, and many of the items that we talked about on the tour we did not get to try, and our guide wasn't even really sure what some of the things where we're eating or how to eat them. Very disappointed, I feel like maybe this place has fallen on hard times and used to be really awesome because you can see the bones of a cool experience are there, however for us that day it was just really unfortunate and I'm very...
Read moreMy husband and I ended up visiting the dragon fruit farm because of zipline Groupon we purchased. I have always wanted to try ziplining so I figured I would do it in Maui. Honestly, the zipline experience was underwhelming for adults but I can see how it would be a great experience for kids. The highlight of the trip was Liz and Corey. They are WWOOFERS who work on the farm in exchange for living there for free. They could have done the basic tour of the farm since they're temporary workers and owner wasn't even around. But they really went out of their way to show us around and explain everything. Liz taught all us so much about plants while walking around the farm and seemed genuinely excited to be there. She was so personable and kind. At the end of the tour, Liz provided us with a huge plate of fruits consisting of papaya, dragonfruit, passion fruit, guava, and apple bananas. We were not expecting fruit sampling at the end and that was so awesome as we had not had these fruits back home on the East coast. This actually ended up being my FAVORITE experience while we stayed in Maui for a week. I cannot...
Read moreThis was a nice tour. For some reason it was not 60 minute. Were there for over two hours. I think it wouldâve been better if it was only an hour as described in the website since it was too hot and sunny. Recommendations that I have are: Serving cold water under the tent mid-way for the guests. I really would have loved to drink the dragon fruit juice that was served at the end of the tour specially since it was not the right season for dragon fruits and of course we didnât see any, but the juice was too warm..! Another suggestion is to serve more than one coconut for each table, we only had one coconut and one straw and we were a party of four, nobody wanted to drink with the other personâs straw... One coconut for each couple wouldâve been acceptable in my opinion. We enjoyed the fresh fruits at the end of the tour with him posting the picture. And the overall tour was very interesting and...
