Perhaps the best (only?) moderately priced authentic Mexican food on Maui. Five "Maui-Mexican Food" stars. We went with friends, party of 8. My husband is "born and raised" from Tamaulipas, Mx. Having lived in Chicago long time, we were spoiled with many fanastic, authentic Mexican dining nearby, due to 50+ years of large-scale immigration from Mexican Nationals originating in D.F., Guanajato, MIchoacan, etc. "Tex-Mex", "Cali-Mex" & "Baja" style Mex cooking doesn't do it for us. Hubs had posole, I had tacos de lengua. Hubby gave his posole an "8", my street style tacos were good. That said, lengua is a tricky meat with a lot of different preferences as to how it's cooked.
