Heinie's Tavern — Restaurant in Mauston

We went there for a Monday night out. Played pool, darts, bought food and drinks, tipped tender. The minute things got "fun", we were told to leave. If you're looking to sit quietly at a bar, it's your place. If you're looking for a fun hole-in-the-wall, don't be fooled, you will be asked to leave. This bar is loyal to it's quiet locals only and do not take kindly to new people. I was ready to make this a new place to visit, but it's been made clear that new people are not welcome. I asked what the problem was and was told she didn't need one. The bartender also said people had left because of our party, but that wasn't the case. I'd be cautious if I were the bar owner. On my 21st birthday decided to come here and we walk in, sit down and the bartender (older short haired woman with glasses) she was rude straight away and made everyone at the table very uncomfortable. Coming here was not worth it and would not recommend if she is working. She was just very rude and made it seem like taking our order was a burden like she had something better to do with her time when she chose...

We walked in asked if they served food, the lady behind the bar threw two small menus at us and walked away, never even acknowledged us. We decided not to eat but we were going to get a drink but she went to the other end of the bar and didn't come back so we walked out. I think we now know why the bar is for sale. Hopefully someone with some customer service...
