Review Update (04/30/2021): The place continues to get better feom my experience during it's startup. Increased my rating from 2 to 4. If you wish to experience the taste of Japanese alcohol (Osake) this is the best place so far. They have a great selection on artesanal beers from Japan not found in this west area and a great selection of Japanese sake (Nijonshu). Even they have a great selection of Japanese whiskeys and other great drink's. Review Update (06/22/2020): I really liked the atmosphere setting of the place a mix of modern and Japanese elements. I tried the sushi rolls and there were tasteful despite the sushi rice texture could improve. They have a good selection of sake and Japanese beers. Still as in my previous review the chefs still don't use the face mask all the time, especially during the COVID-19 pandemia. It's a great place with great opportunity of improvement and a needed new proposal in area of Mayagüez, PR. Previous Review (06/17/2020): There was a person in the kitchen without wearing a face mask for 5 minutes that I waited to make an order. I left without making any order. To be fair, I will update my review in the future.

This restaurant has a wonderful staff and a very pleasant setup. The food is fenomenal and they cover a wide variety of options. Certainly a wonderful place to have some great asian food. They also provide a good selection of sake. This is not my first visit and to date it can be said that it has gotten better and they have refined their products. Without a doubt a splendid experience. The only complaint was with the "ponzu sauce" they provided me; however that is a very dish specific details. I hope you give it a try and visit. I would hope you have an even greater experience while enjoying their dedication to asian cuisine.

This place can be pricey. Having said that our server Melanie made it a wonderful night. Top notch service. Food was amazing with the only exception being the pork ramen "soup" being too salty. Everything else was great, I'd recommend this in a heartbeat, more so if Melanie is the one to take care of you. We had pork bao buns, "Si se puede" sushi, a mango drink (can't recall the name) and for dessert both, the lime pie and the other option (again, can't recall that name). Every single item, with the noted exception, tasted great. I'll definitely go back some time soon.

The place is beautiful, especially the bar area. The food was pretty good too, the sushi was great and the teriyaki chicken and rice was alright. But the wait time for our food was ridiculous! We waited over 1 hour and 30 minutes for our food to arrive. I even made reservations at 7pm because we had something to do afterwards and I didn't want to be late for it. It would have been nice if the server had given us a warning about how long it was going to take to get the food when we got there. And on top of that, I asked for no vegetables with my chicken and rice but of course, they put vegetables. Waiting that long and for them to still get my order wrong was insult to injury. Since we needed to be somewhere else and they already made us late, I didn't make a big fuss about it and just paid as fast as possible then left. But it would have been nice if someone on the staff would have noticed, maybe apologize at least, possibly given us a discount for the inconvenience or have the manager talk to us. But no, they just charged us like if everything was normal. The place was not even that busy and there were empty tables the whole time we were there. Maybe I got unlucky but it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a restaurant...
