Coffee and Tea was good. However was disappointed with the service and shocked they have such a high rating. We had never been and expressed that at the register and I had asked what something on the menu was and what was in it as I did with a couple of other things on the menu. They had charged me for the first item I asked about even after me being disgusted by what was in it. I had no idea of this until I was confused on how our bill was 40 dollars when I had only said I wanted some small side casserole which was 5 dollar. In the end she did give us the 12 dollars back which we greatly appreciated. They also don’t give itemized receipts as I had asked for one shorty after. If they had, the problem could’ve been resolved before all the food was made. They write it down on some note pad, do the math on a calculator then put the total into the system so there is no way to even know what you’re getting charged besides the service fee for using a card. Which would have been less had we not been charged for the big meal but that’s mostly irrelevant. It does take a very long time to get your food. We waited over an hour but we were also the last customers. I can mostly understand that when it’s a small place like that. It makes sense. Lastly, they have different hours pasted literally everywhere. Their Instagram says they close at 2 on Saturdays. The internet says 12 as well as their door. However, once we tried to go at 11:30 just for a coffee but they had already closed and locked their door. And today, we had gotten there about 11:20 and they said we were the last customers and locked their doors. I understanding wanting to get out but just say you close at 11:30 if you want to get out earlier because you really don’t close at 12. Overall it was a very mid experience. I understand things can get hectic and overall our problem was resolved but food was wasted and it was not a great...
Read moreFor one of the best dining experiences in Maysville, I can’t recommend this little cafe highly enough. The food and flavored teas are excellent, particularly the lavender tea. My daughter even asks for a tea she calls “sunflower tea” (for some reason) which is really just a sugar free vanilla tea, and Courtney (owner) has never forgotten or not known what she means when she asks for this . We really appreciate her making that personal connection with Grace. If the food and curiosity brought us there initially, it is the ambiance and the quality of service that keeps us coming back. The cafe is beautiful, elegant, and relaxing and we love hanging out there and playing a game of chess or reading. Another huge plus for me is the sensory quality of the cafe; the Parc Cafe hits exactly the right note — quiet, soothing colors and lighting, small and cozy. I also really appreciate the serving sizes, which are moderate and healthy. If you want to savor a delicious well-prepared meal in a lovely environment, look no further.
*Under new management since this review. Food remains very good, but it is a much different vibe from the Parc...
Read moreGorgeous spot! Some of the best service I've ever had. Amazing conversations with the staff and a couple of locals. The decor and ambiance are to die for. Both inside and out. We live about 35 minutes away in Southern Ohio. I'd been lusting after this place on social media for several months. When I saw the chance of my husband being up incredibly early on a Saturday morning, I got ready quickly. As beautiful of a place, I was welcomed immediately in my jogging pants and over sized sweatshirt! I didn't feel out of place. Perfect and the absolute best Eggs Benedict! Perfectly poached egg on homemade bread, made by the owners mother. I believe they said she was in her 80's! The cinnamon rolls I watched be freshly iced. Homemade for sure. That...
