Our experience today wasn't all that great, but it wasn't super bad either. We went in for breakfast at around 10am. Although there was a party of 9 ahead of us on the waiting list, we were sat first at a booth. Our party of 4 didn't have to wait at all to be seated, which was a pleasant surprise, as we usually wait at least 40 min at our other usual Sunday spots. Once the hostess sat us, a minimum of 25 min passed and no one came to our table, not even to get our drink order. The (what I believe was) manager asked us if anyone had come around yet. We said no, and had to wait another 5 min until we finally got a server. He was polite, though kind of rushed us through our order. Our drinks came about 10 min after that. By the time we got our drinks, the party of 9 that was sat a few moments after us, was already receiving their food! An additional 30 min passed until we received our food, which by the way, was lukewarm. It didn't make sense to me, as the plates that our food was served on were really hot. I expected our food to be about the same temp. Anyway, we didn't really enjoy our meal. My husband ordered a medium done T-bone steak and eggs. The meat was well done, too dry for his liking. Like I said, I felt that my eggs and hash browns were too cold. All in all, this Denny's seems to be a bit on the unorganized side. They weren't completely busy to be so unattended with customers. Maybe they lacked staff this morning? I don't know, but I think I'd rather go to another...
Read moreSeating was bad because they couldn't get tables cleared or prepped. There were at least 6 empty booths when we walked in. Took 15 minutes for those tk be cleared. Sirloin steak was not as pictured. Looked like a T-bone cut of bone... based on straight side and 1/2 inch thickness. The squash looked dried and unappealing. My chili burger was not a burger patty, but what looked like three giant meatballs squished together. When I picked it up one of the meatball shapes tore off. My bun was past crispy to the point where it resembled black toast. They forgot my grilled onions and cheese bread. My wife ate half her steak before the waiter came back. He took my burger and came back with a better looking burger, bit overall presentation was still unappealing.she was done eating when I got my burger and sat watching me eat after I sat and watched her eat. They didn't give her her salad because they had no 1000 island at 3pm.waiter noted receipt with pen. My wife asked if there would be some sort of adjustment because of wait for food. Waiter responded he didn't know because that was a manager thing. When we were walking out he mentioned that he had explained to manager. When we walked to front he talked to manager she apologized with a grumble and took a 20% off total still charging the salad we didn't get. So really it was 10%.
Overall appearance was dirty, utensils, windows, floors... someone needs to visit...
Read moreI did not go into the actual location but ordered food through uber eats. When we got the order and started opening up the boxes I found that my wife's burger didn't have anything in it just the bun and the meat, not even the mustard we had specifically asked for. I ordered a burger for my self as well only to find out that my bottom bun was burned and really hard not to mention that the meat well, it looked like it had been put together out of other meats since it was in about 3 separate pieces. I had also ordered a California club sandwich for my mother which was ok at first glance only to find out it didn't have the sun dried tomato mayo that it says it has on the menu! Not a special request but included as part of the menu! This is unacceptable! I don't know what kind of management or chefs are running this location but it is not working out at all. I am a professional chef and food like this would never be allowed to leave my kitchen, the standards of this location need to change and change fast! My suggestion is to get rid of the chef and cooks, not following their own menu and burning food is not a good thing and letting it leave the kitchen is...
