King Taco # 12 — Restaurant in Maywood

I will love to do a nice review on this store but the cashier and her attitude, I think her name is princess mess up she's got the worse attitude I ever experienced. I did call the store around 9:22 pm before I arrived because I live in West Hollywood and it's a drive to go to that store the only reason I went there is because I used to live around there and they have better food than others king taco, I spoke to a gentleman on the phone before I arrived he explained that they don't have tamales at the moment and he said that they were going to put another load I told him where I was coming from, and he said "by the time you get here tamales are going to be ready" so when I arrived the cashier was so rude and did not want to sell the tamales, usually they sell them and tell you to wait whetever time they say and she had the worse attitude "we don't have tamales" then she asked one of the lady's at what time those tamales going to be ready,(in Spanis,i think she though I didn't know Spanish) an the lady answered at 10:35 and it was 10:26pm at the end she sold them to me because I asked her for the manager and she said im going to sell them to you.well.. thank you for the favor. people have to understand what is costumer service. Well the one star is for the person who answer the phone I don't know he's name, and Xochitl the lady who prepared the order...

This location is ridiculous! Waited 40+ mins for our Online order. We went last night to get some food, did an online order because the line in store was really long. We ended up waiting so much longer for the online order. When we finally got called for our order, we were told that half the order wasn't available. The Manager told us that we shouldn't order tamales online because it isn't available. Why would they make the options available if we can't order it?! He asked if I wanted a refund, which obviously I want a refund if my items aren't available! He ended up refunded me my whole order instead of just the items that weren't available. Then he wanted me to repay my order. Why would I have to pay again if the refund he did (which should've only been a few items) wouldn't get deposited back into my account until 3 days from now. So we ended up having to go without our food and without the $ I paid. I have to wait for my refund still. Manger really should know how to manage his store better. Maybe refund only the items not available! I like king taco restaurants but I won't be back here, Pico Rivera or Long Beach locations are so...

Incredible menu. Many items you won't see at the other King Tacos. All meat burrito with onions, cilantro and green sauce fills my belly. Rice was really good. Refried beans not so much. The restaurant is beautiful and huge inside. Plenty of security keeping things safe. They have a beer/drink bar. Great place to stop in and plan on hanging out a bit. The lines at this shop get really long when its busy. They push out the food very fast. So I recommend having someone in your party snag a table while one waits in line. I do not recommend the wet burrito. Its just a normal burrito that just has sauce poured over it with a little cheese on top. Mine was filled with rice to make it fluffy. I dont see why it costs 15 bucks 😕. Chicken flautas tasted excellent but the presentation compared to Glendale was lacking. The quality is on par with Glendale just not a fan of the higher prices. Why are the prices higher? Its in a lower income neighborhood... Glendale is downtown where rent prices are premium. Just doesn't make sense to me. Corporate care to comment? I can understand the beer being expensive but...
