Starbucks — Restaurant in Maywood

For those who sometimes still use cash. WARNING! We came to this Starbucks yesterday and placed an order of 3 drinks and 3 desserts in the drive thru. When we approached the window the person there interrupted our question when she saw that we were going to pay with a $100 dollar bill. She said she didn’t have change for us because they just cleaned her drawer and that we were going to have to pay with a card. My husband told her we don’t have it on us now, and we only had cash. She then said that she didn’t know what to tell us, I then asked her if maybe the cashier inside had change and she said I would have to walk in to check. So I parked and walked inside where I asked Claudia if she had changed for me to pay the drinks that were ordered in the drive thru. She said she didn’t have change either but she was going to check in the back. While I was waiting someone else approached me and told me that the other girl had already told me they didn’t have change. I informed her that she told me she didn’t have change at her drawer and she told me I would have to get out and ask in the front. Then this girl said “ yeah okay well you have make a purchase to break the $100. I told her I was making a purchase of 3 drinks and 3 desserts. Then she walked away and said she was going to check( mind you Claudia was already checking). Look, I understand if it was one drink to break the bill, or maybe even a purchase under $10 dollars..... but our total was $21.85. Because I didn’t have smaller bills or my card, I was forced to cancel my order even though it was already made. I have family and friends that work for Starbucks, and I confirmed with them if this was legit. They confirmed that this staff was rude and lazy.Jonathan, I am really disappointed with your staff. This place SUCKS! I waited 10 minutes in drive thru just to get a grande iced black coffee and a sproutedwhole grain bagel. I asked for a lightly iced back coffee and only 1 cream cheese. When I got my little brown paper bag everything seemed great. I said thank you and was on my way. As soon I sipped on the coffee it was the sweetest god damn black coffee ever created. I never asked for sweetener in my iced black coffee nor was I asked if I wanted any. The girl who is working today, Tuesdaytook my order got it all wrong. Right away I was disappointed. I go into the bag to get my bagel and I see not 1 BUT 3 cream cheeses. I asked for 1 cream cheese so why would I get 3?!?? I'm more than positive they charged me for 3 too. No one just randomly gives out 3 cream cheeeses when they were asked for one. Now I know you are all like "but why are you complaining about extra cream cheese??" I only used one so what am I suppose to do with the other two? It's a waste of cream cheese and again, they most likely charged me. I couldn't continue drinking my grande iced black coffee because it was too sweet. I spent time and money just so that wouldn't drink my coffee and eat 2 extra cream cheeses. DO NOT COME HERE. First time coming to this Starbuck and what a bad experience. The person that was tending to me was super rude and seemed like she didnt want to be there. I asked for 2 cookie crumbles and i was still looking at my phone to see what size to order and to order more drnks and she rudely asked what size in a very annoyed and bothered tone. I asked her if she was having a bad night and she snapped at me saying that i needed to tell her the sizes and that she couldnt hear me cuz of my mask, but i think that there is a better way to talk to a customer. There was no customers in line behind me so there was no reason for her to feel rushed or overwhelmed. I dont write many bad reviews cuz we are all human and have off days but when i told her that i was not going to want anything after all she said " good " I was so surprised she said that and i glanced back in disbelief. Its easy to say That I will not be coming back to this Starbucks due to this person .
