Place have a homey feels to it. Good place for breakfast that's why my family would go here once in a while because it is close to our home and to support the local eatery at the area. But today as we decided to have our Sunday brunch after church, the server we had yelled at me.

Before hand. I understand that serves work is no fun and no easy job because I myself work in the same industry.

So, today as we are seated and ordered our meal everything was great. I asked the server for another syrup and water for everyone because the one on our table is empty and my daughter is ordering pancakes. When our coffee and drink came, they forgot to gave my daughter a straw and only gave us 2 glasses of water, no big deal I'll share the water with my daughter and just asked for the straw. And my mom asked for the sugar substitute because there were none in our table, she is diabetic. They brought us our food, everything was great. They forgot my mom toast, but she said she dont want it anymore so we didn't bother to ask for it. As my daughter had enough of her food, she left couple of her silver dolar pancakes so I decided to just finish them, don't want them to go to waste. It took a while to get somebody attention because its a busy morning, and that's okay, when we did get the attention of our server I asked for more coffee and another butter. She came back and handed me a "water" and just left. So, my mom got her attention again and asked for a "butter", the server replied "oh boxes". Hearing that I assumed either she couldn't hear my mom or she didn't understand what we are asking because the place was pack or our accent, so I said "NO, we need butter B U T T E R, assuming it would help get the communication right this time. To my shock this server yelled at me in this busy restaurant "oh you don't have to spell it to me maam, I know how to spell". To my disbelief, I just kept quiet and didn't react. She come back, left us the butter and added this statement "cleary I heard water that's why I gave you water" with an attitude, clearly we loss our appetite after that, so my mom just asked for the check and with another sarcastic tone as she handed us the check "I hope you have a blessed day."

So, honestly. This place is still a good place for breakfast. Most of the people that works there are very pleasant like the lady who welcomed us and seated us on our table. I could have matched the servers energy and causes a scene but I have my 7 year old with me and a place full...

I have been to this place 3 times and had absolutely wonderful experience with my girlfriends, but this time I planned a little birthday get-together for my one year old with some very close friends. I had called ahead an hour prior and gave them the headcount including my daughter. Arrive there on time and we waited about 20 minutes to get a seat. Mind you this was 20 minutes outside when it looked like it was about to rain. Then I updated on the whole party of five were there and they proceeded to score to the table that clearly could only fit 4 people but there are no other tables available at that moment. So we made ourselves fit together and I proceeded to put a booster chair that I had with me at the end of the table. I understand that there is a rule about this being a fire hazard but at the same time they knew I had a one year old who could not sit in a normal booster seat and they provided me with the table that couldn't even fit my whole party. It was bad enough that I was told by one person but then three other people came and said the exact same thing to me that this was a fire hazard and that we could not have this booster seat at the end of the table. I finally got told her we were going to be moved to a better seating arrangement and that was great but then a second person told me again we're going to see if you're somewhere else. I don't know if it was management or who to blame with this but I was absolutely embarrassed very much annoyed and I just wanted to walk out. Indian we finally got our table I put my booster seat there and we had our breakfast. I just felt like this was a very unprofessional situation and honestly they should have tried to do something to accommodate any further issues forseen to come. My daughter's first birthday party ended up being a complete embarrassment. I will never step foot in this...
