Last year I was looking to lease my first car. At the time, I went to multiple dealerships and was not greeted by anyone. One dealership in particular, Maxon Mazda Hyundai on route 22, was extremely insulting, a sales person basically implied I was too young to purchase a car. After multiple bad experiences with dealers/dealerships I was discouraged in what should be an exciting process since it was my first car. Last spring, after all of the awful experiences, I went to Park Ave Acura and was immediately greeted by Jonathan Creus. I test drove an ILX in a matter of minutes. Jonathan was very respectful on the test drive. I asked him if we can stay off route 17 and he accommodated my wishes and took me on side streets. When it was time to go back on route 17 on the test drive, Jonathan switched places with me and he drove it back to the dealership. He gave me his business card and called back a few weeks later. At that time I thought it would be best to wait until the summer was over to purchase a car and Jonathan respected by decision on waiting to buy the car. I never felt any pressure to purchase the vehicle, which was great. Jonathan called back about a week ago and told me they were having great lease deals. I told him again that I would think about it and again he was respectful of my decision. I called back and we discussed numbers. Jonathan gave me all the information on the phone about how much I would be spending and I ultimately went in for another test drive yesterday. After the test drive, I considered to lease the TLX and the numbers that Jonathan told me over the phone were the same. I liked the fact that Jonathan was honest and did not try to just get me into the dealership with good numbers over the phone and change it when I got there. Yesterday I leased my first car, the TLX, and I had a great experience at Park Ave Acura. My salesperson, Jonathan Creus, was extremely professional, respectful, and honest. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone purchasing an Acura. I also had a pleasant experience in the finance department at Park Ave Acura. While finishing my paperwork, James Lundy, was friendly and gave my boyfriend advice about his lease with another car brand. James told him that he should look into his lease contract with Nissan because he might be paying for fees he shouldn't be. Overall, Park Ave Acura has great employees that genuinely care about the people they are selling their cars to. I highly recommend...
Read moreIf I was given the choice to rate my experience of Curt Lewis (sales agent) and Park Ave Acura up to a '10 +++', I would. I am a single Mom of a young kiddo and shopping for a new (used) car was turning into an intensely stressful situation - I was shopping in my general location (Vermont) as well as on the internet for a car further south. I finally found the pre-owned car of my dreams at Park Ave Acura - and an AMAZING Acura agent. I can't call Curt a 'car salesman' because he wasn't just trying to sell a car. He was genuinely assisting me to find the car that was right for me. Because I was buying this car from a few states away - I didn't test drive or let alone sit in the car - I needed to communicate with Curt quite a bit. He was consistently on the receiving end with 100% respect, authenticity, helpfulness and even humor. He overnight-ed paperwork (and then the title) I needed that was clearly laid out to expedite the process. Did I mention he got me a a discount? I swear this guy doesn't get a day off and it feels like he loves his job and likes people. What an OASIS in the desert of car salesmen and car dealerships out there. I sing the praises of this experience with friends, family, my insurance agent, my credit union. Everyone. They LOVE my story of buying my car because it went from nightmare to a daydream with Curt.
About the car: I was keeping my fingers crossed it was everything it seemed on paper and pictures. In fact, Curt emailed AND faxed the service records, 120 point inspection and the car fax report to me as well as to my local mechanic - within minutes of my requesting them. He checked specific items on the car that I inquired about and got right back to me. When I finally made the purchase, and feeling REALLY good about it, Curt personally met the car transport agents and made sure it went off Park Ave Acura lot without any problems. When it arrived to me, it was GORGEOUS. Clean, meticulously detailed, smelled GREAT, drove like a DREAM and with a full tank of gas to boot. My local mechanic - who literally wrote a book on buying a used car - needed to do a Vermont state inspection and gladly reported to me that I virtually have a 'new' car! Thank you Curt and...
Read moreAbsolutely HORRIBLE customer service! I went in for a replacement cam shaft, timing belt, front light / fog light and a side view mirror panel for my Acura TL. First, I dropped my car off to be serviced on a Monday, was told that my car would be ready Wednesday which turned into Friday, which then turned into Tuesday of the following week as I expressed that I had to drive over 1,000 miles for a work conference. I thoroughly explained to the technician the issues with my vehicle, my concerns and provided specific instructions. Upon pickup, the total service costs had been gouged despite being called by the technician beforehand and being told that they would replace the light and ignitor of the bulb. I declined the additional $500 for the bulb and ignitor for the bulb since they called me multiple times with the price steadily increasing. The technician told me via phone that they would replace the bulb as a courtesy since the price was already $3500 and they attempted to increase it to over $4,000. Once I arrived at the service center for pickup, I was being assisted by a representative and then the Assistant Manager Emma interjected. She was extremely RUDE, did not allow me to explain the issue with the price discrepancy beforehand. She consistently questioned me as if I was lying about the conversation with the technician, which was recorded. After agreeing to just pay the $3500, I noticed that the passenger rearview mirror panel was not replaced and the front bulbs were still not replaced. I mentioned it to Emma who was again... RUDE. They essentially did nothing and continued to help other passengers and pretended as if my money was of lower value than other customers. It was a humiliating experience and I will be filing several complaints as a current law student. I will not be returning! Stay far away.... horrible communication, terrible bedside manner and they...
