Nice addition to downtown Maywood. Relatively new and improved remodel and owner of the prior coffee shop. Lots of 2 seat tables + seating at the window counter. Sparkling clean lines. Kinda reminds me somewhat of a Starbucks but without the laptop crowd. And here, if you're dining inside, you can request a glass cup as compared to Starbucks, where it's paper/plastic only. Comfortable atmosphere. Service is friendly and good. Coffee is just the way I like it, as are the lattes. Limited selection of baked goods, most made in-house, but what they have is very tasty. The Banana loaf and the Bread Pudding cupcakes especially delish. They also offer a small selection of sandwiches plus a different in-house made soup, on several weekdays. I've now tried all of the soups, and they're all quite good. A couple of small tables outside in good weather. I've been here numerous times now and always satisfied. Service pets allowed. I came across this cozy and beautiful cafe while running errands in Maywood neighborhood. Fragrance of the fresh brewed coffee hits your brain and sets the vibe right as soon as you enter. They have quite decent variety of coffee, tea available. They even have soups, and ample options in bakery items. My wife and I tried Americano and Cappuccino. The flavor was very rich and on point. Honestly, other coffee shops undermine the original coffee taste by adding too much syrup. But trust me, you won’t regret having a large cup of coffee (or two). We also tried Banana bread.
