I was surprised when I found this restaurant. I was traveling for work nearby and spotted it from the car. After finishing work for the day I stopped by for dinner before leaving town..

I ordered a Hibachi steak plate, that came with a bowl of soup and salad. The food came out quickly, was hot and had amazing flavor. The serving size was generous and well worth the price.

The vegetables were great and cooked to perfection as was the steak. The soup and salad before the meal made the entire meal rather large resulting in me taking some of it to go which I finished later that night at the hotel.

Everything about the visit was great. I would definitely return here when passing thru as it was impressive. I come from a town with a population of over a million, and we have very few Japanese places that come close to the quality of this place, especially...

Ok here we go... Those of you who have read my reviews know I have a weakness for seafood... Hell anyone who really knows me, knows I just have a weakness for food. I started withe the oysters half shell. The oysters are probably the only reason they didn't get a better score. The oysters were room temp and the bottom of one was a little frozen, big no no on both counts. The miso soup was miso soup, the salad was unnecessary. That said, the sashimi that followed was amazing. I had the sashimi deluxe it comes with 15 pieces of chefs choice, and I was not disappointed. 3 snapper, 3 salmon, 3 white tuna, 3 yellow fin, and 3 tuna rolls. I was in heaven. This is an okay hibachi and sushi place. They don’t cook your meal in front of you here but rather cook in the kitchen and bring it out to you. I got steak and shrimp hibachi lunch and it was alright but not great. Compared to similar restaurants I’ve tried this is not up to the standards. No salt or flavoring on meats, just drowned in teriyaki sauce.

Bottom line, it’s alright but won’t change your life. I probably wouldn’t come back since there are other options. In the plus column the sushi looked like they had a lot of options but I didn’t try it. Servers were very friendly and attentive and the drink menu has a lot of beer and mixed drink choices that looked great. I think a new cook would make this a top tier choice but until he/she comes...
