Muelle 37 — Restaurant in McAllen

1st time here. Ive been wanting to try Muelle 37 for a long time. Unfortunately, this will be my 1st and last time here. The decor is really nice and inviting. It's really a beautiful restaurant. Our server was the best, she was very attentive, friendly and courteous. She was also very responsive with our needs. The starter soup was also delicious 😋. Now for the main course. I ordered #4. The shrimp sope was delicious, although it tasted exactly like the starter soup with the shrimp added in. The shrimp in the soup was also cooked very well. The bad part was the fish. It came with 3 and all 3 were over cooked and very dry. It was very disappointing and I just couldn't eat it. I was forcing myself to eat it. I ordered my food over the phone at 5:44 PM and they told me it would be ready in 20 minutes. I got to the restaurant at approximately 6:15 and the food was not ready, so I waited. I got up twice to ask when my food was going to be ready, they checked the back and said it was almost ready. I waited until 6:43 (almost an hour since I had placed my order) but never got my order. I decided to just get my money back. Before this, the gentleman before me also had asked what was taking so long with his order when I got there, so it seems like this experience is not a sole event. This was my 1st time here. The service and food was good. I sat at the bar ordered my food and drink and the service went well. Not till the end I paid with cash due to a 3% charge when using your card. The bill was $23.25 so I paid with $40 expecting cash back to leave a tip. After a while I noticed the bartender serving others and I figured she assumed the cash back was a tip. I asked her and response was it got busy.
